Man, the interaction Ash has with his followers by making these kind of video's is - in my humble opinion - very unique, something that rarely happens in the fragrance community. It gives us a feeling of being heard, listened to and - actually - followed up on, hence the making of these video's. This, among many other things, makes Ash - again: in my humble opinion - the best fragrance reviewer on YT.

Great list Ash. I either own (or have owned) many of the fragrances you listed. I miss my vintage bottle of Michael Kors (used up) and agree that Frank No.3 needed some time to eventually like. Here are a few of my Tobacco Favourites:
1. Naxos 2. Herod 3. The One EDT (prefer over EDP) 4. Tabac Rouge by Phaedon 5. Pure Havane 6. Frank No.3 7. Spicebomb Extreme
Tobacco Vanille is my most complimented scent. Wife hates it, but others (and myself) LOVE IT! I've spent a lot of money on TF Tobacco Vanille!

Just bought JV Vintage at Marshalls last night for 24 bucks! Love it so far. Definitely reminds me of Polo Green which was my first fragrance way back in the 90s

Never smelled Tobacco Vanille spray but have the beard oil. Maybe my favorite scent ever. Gonna def pick up a bottle in the fall.

Michael Kors has been one of my favorites for years. I even bought a back up bottle. Fortunately I have the original before the reformulations.

Surprised about omission of Azzaro Wanted by Night. Also Zara Warm Black and Rich Warm Addictive are excellent cheapies which would have made this list more versatile pricewise
I’m a big fan of Gratiot League Square and Unconditional Surrender from Chatillon Lux. The former is a sweet and spicy pipe tobacco, and the latter is a floral woody cheroot frag. Amazing quality and performance for the price.
Great list, presentation. Gonna seek a sample of the M Kors. Would suggest sniffing C Hererra Mystery Tobacco, Lalique Ombre Noir if you haven't. Cheers.

Robert Graham Fortitude is a great tobacco fragrance that deserves attention. Gorgeous bottle too!
Best new tobacco cheapie on the block is Zara's Warm Black in my opinion. Fantastic scent, with strong nods to Tobacco Vanille and many other prominent tobacco scents. Highly recommended and an absolute steal!

Chergui is such an interesting fragrance. I smelled it back when I wasn’t all that interested in fragrances. And what came across for me at least was a very very very spicy almost curry like smell. I’d love to give it another sniff now that I pay more attention to fragrances and different smells

Love Pure Havane. Its very sweet but not cloying. I will wear it to work. I work with teen and preteen boys who have behavior and psych problems. They like sweet, friendly things. They appreciate any smell that is not feet, arm pits, or old food. They do not like aggressive male fragrances. Its a wonderful scent that is not alpha male.
That MK Man is very underrated but it's pretty nice!

I’m currently trying to find scent that makes me feel like I just walked into a cigar humidor, dryer and not as sweet as pipe tobacco. I would set up a recliner there if the shop owners had a sense of humor. 😆
I’ve had several suggestions off your FB group particularly Ormande Jayne Montobaco, also Bell’Antonio Hildegard Soliani, The Blazing Mr Sam Penhaligon and Jeke Slumberhouse. If you have time, your quick thoughts please. I have Herod, Carlisle and Man in Black (prefer over Spicebomb).

Question about Diptyque. I am really curious about them, but when i look at fragrantica, they seem to have a pretty lackluster performance. Can you or some of the viewers confirm this, if they have some of them?
Gucci by Gucci is a standout for me.

Could do with some tips. I'm fairly new to collecting and early days I couldn't do, wasn't ready for, tobacco. I've revisited a few with faint notes of tobacco and I'm starting to enjoy it. Which tobacco fragrance would anyone recommend that isn't obnoxiously tobacco, where tobacco supports the fragrance rather than takes over. That's what I'm looking for 🙏
Ash, what year is your pure havane bottle and has it lost any of its notes? I’m considering buying a 2012 bottle because my 2018 bottle is reformulated into the ground.

Is the much older version of Michael (same stout bottle, with only the word 'Michael' horizontally across the top) the same fragrance as the one he's holding in the video? He mentions the one with the vertical writing being a different fragrance, but not the much older one.
