I decided to give my old build a new facelift, so I renovated a few apartments and I'll come back to it once the new pack arrives! ENJOY!

Just a thought, you can use the apartment trash shute instead of a 🗑️ when space is tight.

You need to move the extractor fan in the 1st apartment over to the cooker and not over the sink. Love the build so far. have a great weekend Aden.
All I can say is the new pack is tailor made for so many of your past builds. I can not wait to see builds like Brindleton Harbour and Those Brutalist Townhomes fully utilized as intended.

Just started watching. I have older builds that have lots of little glitches. My theory is that certain updates and bug fixes play games on saved builds. This also reduces the amount of ego loss when I look at them now.😁
wow, you really breathed new life into these! i adore the second apartment, so light and cozy. can't wait to see you finish these out with the new pack; since it's south asian inspired, maybe you could furnish one of the apartments for an expat or student studying abroad in tokyo!
I am so excited for your murder mystery series in Henford on Bagley. Been dying for you to do something like this as iris very Agatha Christie vibes since she wrote a lot of her works in the Devon area and where she got her inspiration. I only hope you build the Burgh Hotel which was the inspiration for my favourite of hers Evil Under The Sun. I love that episode of Poirot and is by far my favourite. Nobody else has built it all I'm attempting to recreate it myself but I'm no builder so I'm hoping someone professional like your house self does it. It's a lovely art deco build and I am definitely not giving it the credit it deserves but I'm trying my best. Please save me by building it for me, lol. Agatha Willbe turning in her grave with my efforts. I tried building it once before but annoyingly lost all progress and was actually quite proud of it as I'm not really a builder but I'm getting better. I'll never be an amazing architect like you though Aden sadly 😭
I would absolutely LOVE to see you build a tiny home community on a large lot using the new pack “For Rent”

21:05 People don’t utilize the stacked counter option enough for my liking. I love using those to end off my counter segments especially when cabinets can’t be used in the space and you want the “storage” look
I have no idea how I missed this video when you released it, but I enjoyed very much watching you revisit this previous build of yours. You packed so much living space into such a tiny lot! Your floor plans are ingenious!

this is just a guess, but do you use the sims 3 camera or sims 4 camera in build mode? i use sims 4 bc it's the default in ts4, but many builders that played ts3 use that camera setting bc it's what they're used to. the controls are different so there's a learning curve, but i believe the sims 3 setting is generally smoother, and i think Aden is probably using that.
@@ktonytbbI mostly use sims4 camera, cause sims3 camera is so hard for me. Lol. And thanks!!!

Uhh I thought you were gonna change the orientation where the TV, sofa and the desk go. Cause if someoneycoming over and you're sitting on the sofa, you don't wanna be bothered always looking to the back.
TV should go on the wall near the door, sofa right on in fron of the TV, the desk can go on te wall where the slat is, and the dining table can be squeezed in right behind the sofa.
Hey Devon, love your builds etc your a funny guy but I have to let you know the hob does not need a extractor as it has one built in the hob itself.

I didnt think they made that dishwasher from home chef pack to fit on a corner piece like that considering how small they made it. I tried it out and it wouldnt fit
It doesn't, it only fits on full counters. Aden explained it some videos ago, but it's to do with slotting taking up a full counter space, so at the moment it's not possible to slot to a corner piece.

Pillars as architectural detail was something I often did in the early days too. Why?
The bike overhand needs to make more sense. Otherwise cool.

First apartment fan needs to be over the stove
i feel like this build would be such a nice fit in britchester for foxbury university to replace that sad ugly non dorm housing build. maybe add a few red accents for the school color’s and obv remove the ovens and bits but the size of each space would work really well. i have seen similarly sized and furnished student flats irl so it wouldn’t even be that unrealistic ( also it’s the sims , what is realism anyway haha ).
i am excited that one of the big focuses with this upcoming expansion pack seems to be community and communal areas which i feel like was intended for growing together with things like the rec centre and just the overall family game play but i don’t think it really landed outside of your own household so im hoping it does with this one.
can’t wait to hear your reviews and first impressions before deciding on wether i want to get it myself or not.
