I’m Scottish and as you started going down the road I genuinely thought you were going to my aunts house😂 Gorgeous build, and glad to hear how much you love Scotland❤️❤️
As a human in Scotland who lives in an old cottage and who is also having the time of their life with Baldur's Gate 3, this video made my absolute weekend! Love this series!
This was the first ever video I saw from you, and coincidentally I saw it just a few weeks after my father passed last July. He LOVED Scotland and talked about wanting to live in a cottage just like this one you’ve built. This video means a lot to me, it’s kind of a comfort and a light in the darkness. Thank you for what you do, Devon. I adore you ❤
Many years ago I went to Glasgow to the Country Living Magazine Christmas fair. Brilliant! Also, we went by train to Edinburgh and had a glance at the castle and zoo. It was amazing! Later I learned about the gay penguins living there. A gentleman with a bagpipe playing for tourists changed his tune to a lullaby when he saw me and my son in his tram. Everyone was so welcoming and lovely. The food was great too.
I'm Scottish and this reminds me of my parent's house! I love the detail you put into this build. The landscaping is a highlight, those are plants I have in my garden and the wildness of it is very realistic. I also love you giving the pronunciation of loch a proper go, you're one of the few who knows it's not a 'lock.' ☺
I hope to see Scotland someday. I could be very happy in a little cottage like this. I really enjoyed it and have a wonderful weekend Aden. Give Daisy a little scratch. She's so cute.
I absolutely love this series. I hope you do a Scandinavian inspired one eventually. There are a lot of really cute and cozy cabins and houses in Norway and Sweden that I think would be perfect to recreate in the sims.
obsessed with the interior design in this place, you nailed the dark, cosy vibe perfectly!! Can imagine curling up in that living room after a hike on the highlands with a hot cocoa 🥰
Oooh I am from and live in Edinburgh. It really is a beautiful city. You get the city feel without it being too busy and chaotic. Scotlands rural landscapes and beaches are some of my favourite places to go and chill with my dog. Exploring is our favourite thing to do ❤
I'm pretty sure that every time I watch one of your builds, I end up with bittersweet feelings because the builds are so gorgeous and realistic that I desperately want to move into them, but of course they only exist here in the game. Just so wonderfully done! I'm from the New England area of the United States, so I'm also deeply excited to see what you come up with for Maine! 😊
I'm obsessed with d&d (was prepping for a session tomorrow when I noticed you'd got a new video) so thanks for the turned based combat rec. it's my favourite way of playing because I get really overwhelmed when things are fast-paced and stuff so having as long as I want to think things through has been great. recently my brother has got me into civilisations vi, and I'm a huge fan of citizen sleeper (text and turn-based game, with some great queer rep)
I live in the Highlands, actually on the NC500. It truly is a beautiful part of the world! My house is almost exactly like this build - minus the lovely dormers!!
A friend lives in Sterling and I'm dying to go for a visit. I was adopted but found out that I'm 85% Scottish so it has been on my bucket list for ages!
Recently discovered your channel and really enjoying this series and definitely wasnt expecting to see Scotland! Very exciting to see our stuff being represented in a lovely way and respected. Also howling at the bg3 side tangent cause it's so true.
Just found your channel so naturally I am binge watching your playlists! Regarding Scotland, I have been to Edinburgh and Durness; the furthest point north. Durness was absolutely my favourite, so remote and beautiful. Id love to go back there.
♥ Beautiful build. I say, "Oh perfect," and then Aden says, "Yes. Perfect". 😆It's the perfect time of year to do a Maine build - it's when the whales scuttle past along the Gulf Stream (♥ me that wonderful Gulf Stream!). Even in the tourist season, Maine is never overcrowded.
I've been having a really, really rough few days, today being the worst. Watching your videos always makes me smile. I just love you, you're so funny, and banter is top notch. Thank you for being you, you make this world a better place. I adore you ! Xo
Hooray for some fun Maine fishing cottages!!!! They’re totally up your alley. A nice rocky coastal garden, maybe a moose or a lighthouse somewhere. I can’t wait!
I’m loving this series! As a long time subscriber from Portland, Oregon in the states, I would love to see you do a home from around here. We have a lot of Victorian homes that have been decked out with funky colors and custom fencing/fixtures/windows by hippy inhabitants over the years 😂
I went to Cornwall recently and we went on a drive to the literal arse end of nowhere and we came out in the middle of a forest with these tiny lanes. There was an amazing modern house with loads of glass windows and a lake out the front. It was my absolute dream. I wish I could find it on goggle earth because it would make an amazing sims build
Loving this series! I'm from Scotland and the Highlands and country side are so beautiful. How do you choose where to build, do you choose a random place on the map?
I really enjoy this series! I absolutely love when you use CC because the content isn’t limited and there’s variety. You’re amazing Aden, hope you have a lovely weekend!
Omg i love this build. One of my favorite things is you music selection for each video. It puts you in the spirit of the location and ideas you have. Ive never been to Scotland (or left the U.S.) but its one of my bucket list locations to visit. This is absolutely gorgeous!!! Excited for the next installment of this series.
I've been to Scotland on vacation with my son. We went to Edinburgh Castle, Stirling Castle. We had a fantastic dinner in the Jacobite Room of the castle. First time eating haggis. It was great. If it were prepared again like we had I would eat it again. We had a tour of the Glencoyne Distillery and a tasting after the tour. We also got to see the Military Tattoo Show after our meal in the Castle. Amazing vacation. Oh, I can't forget, we also had lunch with a friend in the Hard Rock Cafe in Edinburgh.
Back when I was looking at going to college (University) I was looking at going to the University of Aberdeen. I looked at all sorts of cute little cottages with yards for my dog but ended up meeting my husband and staying stateside. I’ve never stopped dreaming of making it to Scotland sometime.
I just started watching your vids, been having a tough time in life at the moment and your vids have been a really nice distraction. Your builds are lovely and satisfying to watch and your voice is nice. So. Thanks for making these 😊
i spent about two weeks exploring scotland via roadtrip - starting in glasgow, driving straight up to loch lomond, through glencoe [GORGEOUS] up to the isle of skye for a few days. the old man of storr! the fairy pools!! stumbled upon alexander mcqueen's gravesite in some random graveyard. then on through inverness. somewhere near dunnottar castle which was honestly the highlight for me. spent a few days in edinburgh and then glasgow. absolutely stunning trip, can't wait to go back and see what i've missed.
Since you're moving on to the U.S. next, I'd LOVE to see your take on Southern architecture! Especially the French-influenced parts like New Orleans, LA and Mobile, AL 💜⚜️💛 The Gulf Coast is my homeland, and I feel like Mobile in particular is never recognized despite it predating New Orleans and literally being the birthplace of Mardi Gras in the U.S. 🤷🏻 Ah bon, quand même! Laissez les bons temps rouler!
Oh, that was a haaard week for me, a new job and my grandpa got really sick... and I that I was dreaming about was a nice quiet evening. And then I found this brand new video, that made me feel so happy. Xo Xo
I'm from KY in the US and I went to Scotland in May of 2010 for 2 weeks, stayed in Leith in Edinburgh with a friend that I knew from online, loved it so much that I saved up my money and went back in Jan. of 2011 for another 2 weeks. I was there during Burns night so got to experience a Burn's supper. I would give anything to live there.
This is a beautiful build. I am part Scottish and wish to visit someday. I was born and raised and still live in Maine and I cannot wait to see what you build. I love your channel and your ideas.
love this gorgeous build! i recently went on a road trip around scotland and also loved it :) and i love this concept!! looking forward to the next one
Obsessed with this series! I love how calming and happy your videos are 🖤 can't wait to see more! Also totally different vibe but I think it'd be really cool to see you do a southern Californian build inspired by the Dingbat buildings!
Scotland is my dream destination, since forever. Found some 14th and 15th century ancestors in both scotland and ireland and i cannae wait to go some day 😍
As someone who played the Early access of Baldur's Gate 3 for the past 2 years, I thought I'd be bored of Act 1 of the game as I've played it countless times... And honestly, I'm in AWE of how much content they added. I'm still in Act 1 after one full week, still exploring every nook and cranny. I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that this now takes the cake for the best game I've ever played, beating Skyrim of all things. Truly a masterpiece and WELL worth the wait. I fully sobbed when I opened the full release for the first time 😂
I Love this build, especially as I am also of Scottish descent. Love Scotland, and would love to travel again there someday. I didn't get to stay long, but I have seen some of the Loch's and Edinburgh. I've also been playing Baldur's Gate 3, since beta even. Love it! Thank you so much for choosing this inspiration!
Very beautiful build and it looks so beautiful in Scotland but I never been there in my life and I would like to go someday. Have a wonderful weekend and a great time at the spa.
I go up the Highlands a couple times a year usually to see family. We usually stay in the Mallaig area which is coastal and it is hands down the most beautiful place. I love it and the house style is so cute
Just wanted to tell you how much I love you as a content creator! Have been following you for about a year and a half now and have watched all of your builds! I’m currently 35,000 odd feet in the air on a plane buying wifi just so I can watch todays build! ❤
Love this home! Would love to go to Scotland one day. I so miss the UK. It's such a lovely country. Have a lovely weekend and my love to you, Tom and Daisy.
I live on a Croft in the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides. My husband died in November so I am going to move to mainland Scotland soon. My daughter sent me the link to this so that I could see how to use the Simms to plan out my new home. I loved your video - so inspirational! Your Scottish cottage is gorgeous but you might get plagued by midges, being so close to the water! But I guess if you don't add midges, they don't exist!!!
Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 devotee here, BG2 is my favourite game of all time. I've not bought BG3 yet only because I'm not sure how much time I'll get to play it these days. My disability has put a kibosh on my 'up all night' gaming days. Scotland - yep, spent most of my 20s in Mallaig on every holiday as I've friends who live there. Many holidays in Edinburgh and I honeymooned around Scotland in 2005. Spent Christmas in Killin in 2016 too. This is a gorgeous build, seen many a cottage just like it on my travels. Scottish great-grandparents here too so definitely feels like home but I'm a Yorkshire gal, so it's very similar but bigger scale 😂
I love this. Your inspo cottage actually reminded me a lot of my grandparents farmhouse in the Midwest US. If that’s where you’re looking, I’m sure you’ll see some that have that same vibe. I wish I could say I’ve been to Scotland, I have a friend there I’d love to visit. But I’d also have to see Loch Ness.
I love it! I was in Edinburgh for 3 days, then we took the ferry to Belfast (happened to be on the orange order day thingy, so it was really scary), then we drove to Dublin and was there for 3 days. Honestly... Not enough, I want to go back to the isles and go wherever the wind takes me or so to say for 3 weeks as I want to see villages, old places, forests... as the trip was so rushed I honestly hardly remember anything... Yes I know none of the places are perfect, but no place is so..!
I recently visited slavonski brod in Croata and the houses in the countryside there are so gorgeous. If you ever run out of ideas I really recommend looking around there.
Oh yay! I live in Maine. My house is a boring old colonial, but I can definitely see the appeal of a classic New Englander to you. One of those old houses with an attached barn, perhaps? (or, as they say around Heah...ba-ahn.) Every time I drive anywhere here it takes my breath away!
All the mailboxes you see in game, we also have here in the US. It really depends on the area. Though those door mailboxes were really popular in the 50/60s and kind of tapered off during the 80s and 90s. Back home in NYC, a lot of the older apartments still have the door mail slots.
Gerade deine Videos entdeckt und ich liebe diese Serie. Ich hoffe du besuchst einmal Österreich/Wien, meine Heimatstadt und baust ein klassisches Wohnhaus.
I think I need a version of this cottage in real life. I have an album full of pictures of similar cottages from my trip to North Scotland last September. Loved Skye. Would go back in a heart beat. Love this series. Thanks for consistently making me smile.
Huge fan of Edinburgh! Was fortunate enough to visit, nearly a decade ago. Didn't get to visit more of Scotland, sadly, but hopefully one day! The cottage is adorbs. It would be so random if you ended up uknowingly building an actual viewer's house on this series lol Chances are low, but you never know!
Beautiful place was lucky enough to visit. As an Aussie In Scotland I stuck out like a sore thumb 😂 I visited Dumfries and Stranraer. I will never forget going to a fish and chip shop and they all stared at me when I said no vinegar please! 😂😅 ❤
I’m from Australia but my Mum was born in England and I have family in Scotland. I visited Scotland nearly 10 years ago. We went to Glasgow, St Andrews and Carnoustie (my ex husband is big into golf). I loved Scotland, would definitely go back, but flights are SO expensive!
I’m Scottish and as you started going down the road I genuinely thought you were going to my aunts house😂 Gorgeous build, and glad to hear how much you love Scotland❤️❤️
My favourite place on the planet
As a Scot, it warms my heart seeing/hearing anyone show love for our beautiful land and its people 🏴
As a human in Scotland who lives in an old cottage and who is also having the time of their life with Baldur's Gate 3, this video made my absolute weekend! Love this series!
Haha! I love this, BG3 is so amazing, I'm having best time

The Scots are gorgeous, lovely people. Glad you had a great time :)

Haha, I gave it me best go
Thank you for your kind words about my home country, Scotland! Gorgeous build and fab pronunciation on loch! ❤
I hope to see Scotland someday. I could be very happy in a little cottage like this. I really enjoyed it and have a wonderful weekend Aden. Give Daisy a little scratch. She's so cute.
I just went this spring, absolutely lovely place! Very gray in terms of sky though lol
@@uhlexseeuh come in july/august, it gets quite warm xD
loving how dark, moody, and cozy this build turned out! really enjoying this series so far 🤎
Baulder's gate is absolutely amazing!
I'm ADDICTED and having the best time with a game since The Witcher 3! It's incredible
I absolutely love this series. I hope you do a Scandinavian inspired one eventually. There are a lot of really cute and cozy cabins and houses in Norway and Sweden that I think would be perfect to recreate in the sims.

Such a clever idea! I adore your style of building.
12:03 😂

You should definitely renovate this for Christmas 😍
I live in the Highlands, actually on the NC500. It truly is a beautiful part of the world! My house is almost exactly like this build - minus the lovely dormers!!
Thanks for repping the Scots in this video. Gorgeous build as always.
Also “sac magique!” 😂 what a throwback
A friend lives in Sterling and I'm dying to go for a visit. I was adopted but found out that I'm 85% Scottish so it has been on my bucket list for ages!
I'm from Stirling! You should definitely visit, the castle is amazing and the old grave yard that is near it was just featured in Good Omens! 😊
Recently discovered your channel and really enjoying this series and definitely wasnt expecting to see Scotland! Very exciting to see our stuff being represented in a lovely way and respected.
Also howling at the bg3 side tangent cause it's so true.
simplicity and elegance executed perfectly in this build. its so easy on the eyes.
I looove your buildings and your aesthetic 😍I draw inspiration from them not only in the sims.
Just found your channel so naturally I am binge watching your playlists! Regarding Scotland, I have been to Edinburgh and Durness; the furthest point north. Durness was absolutely my favourite, so remote and beautiful. Id love to go back there.
The dramatic intros allways crack me up and I hope they never ever go away because I need them injected into my veins
I absolutely love Scotland and moved to Shetland this year which is amazing! Edinburgh is great too but I'm yet to explore the highlands.
I've been having a really, really rough few days, today being the worst. Watching your videos always makes me smile. I just love you, you're so funny, and banter is top notch. Thank you for being you, you make this world a better place. I adore you ! Xo
I hope your days get batter Heidi :(
Thank you so much, things are looking up.. ❤
I am so excited!! I have been a subscriber for years from MAINE, so I can't wait to see the build! So much love for you and your videos
Very nice cottage! I’d love to visit Scotland. Would be super fun if you were to build something you find in Sweden
Oh for sure, after the US we will be going all over Europe!
Hooray for some fun Maine fishing cottages!!!! They’re totally up your alley. A nice rocky coastal garden, maybe a moose or a lighthouse somewhere. I can’t wait!
Just an amazing build -as usual! I also use a lot of cc in game. There are some incredible creators out there .
I'm loving this series. It was an amazing idea ❤ Thank you for the video!
Congrats! You've done it again. I LOOOVE when you use CC, it inspires me to decorate my sim's house.
I’m loving this series! As a long time subscriber from Portland, Oregon in the states, I would love to see you do a home from around here. We have a lot of Victorian homes that have been decked out with funky colors and custom fencing/fixtures/windows by hippy inhabitants over the years 😂
I'll check it out my dear, sounds amazing :)
So many gorgeous houses in Cornwall!
Loving this series! I'm from Scotland and the Highlands and country side are so beautiful. How do you choose where to build, do you choose a random place on the map?
I hunt around from above and check out A LOT of places first lol
I love how your clothes always match your builds! Adore this build. You seem to have a lot of fun. ♥️
I really enjoy this series! I absolutely love when you use CC because the content isn’t limited and there’s variety. You’re amazing Aden, hope you have a lovely weekend!
LOVE this build! So cozy. And really enjoying this series a lot! 💗
I love choosing the music for the videos, so thank you :)
This is so gorgeous and cosy, an absolute dream cottage.

Love this! I've got some Scots on my mum's side, but I 've never been. It's on my list. Enjoy your massage!
Oh, that was a haaard week for me, a new job and my grandpa got really sick... and I that I was dreaming about was a nice quiet evening. And then I found this brand new video, that made me feel so happy. Xo Xo
Oh my god, Maine is one of my favorite places on earth. I am so excited to see you build in that style!
Pronunciation of loch was spot on, lots of phlegm ;) I love and miss my home country so much. Nothing beats Bonnie Scotland.
Not having a good week at all but did kinda treat myself and daughter (adult) today, I think we needed it
Scotland is my dream destination, since forever.
I fully sobbed when I opened the full release for the first time 😂
I agree with everything you said here, it is shaping up to be my favourite game of all time 🥲
I Love this build, especially as I am also of Scottish descent.
Have a wonderful weekend and a great time at the spa.
i'm moving to london in september for university but a home like this really is the end goal, once i'm done with the city.
I go up the Highlands a couple times a year usually to see family. We usually stay in the Mallaig area which is coastal and it is hands down the most beautiful place. I love it and the house style is so cute
i am also currently obsessed with baldur's gate dont worry u are not alone

Love Scotland! Absolutely one one the most beautiful country in the world! Thank you for this 🥹🥹🥹
My favorite thing about your builds is that you don't do crazy stuff and anyone could build something similar even with base game content.
I love you! That cracked me up you fighting the wood flooring😂. So one day I'm going to move to Scotland
I'd love to live here. It's just so cozy and cute. Looks like right out of a movie (not just real life)!
Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 devotee here, BG2 is my favourite game of all time. I've not bought BG3 yet only because I'm not sure how much time I'll get to play it these days. My disability has put a kibosh on my 'up all night' gaming days.

Two seconds in and I spit out my coffee. Caught off guard I was 😂
Aw love this Aden!! And I can confirm Scotland loves you too 🥰🥰🥰
I'm planning a campervan NC500 trip for September - can't wait!

How wonderfully cozy!! 💕💕
I recently visited slavonski brod in Croata and the houses in the countryside there are so gorgeous. If you ever run out of ideas I really recommend looking around there.
A cabin in northern Michigan would be fun!
And isn't this sim world where a water dragon is? Cause thats ideal with the Scottish build. Like the loch Ness monster!

I really need to visit Skye, I haven't had the pleasure yet :(
Huge fan of Edinburgh! Was fortunate enough to visit, nearly a decade ago. Didn't get to visit more of Scotland, sadly, but hopefully one day! The cottage is adorbs. It would be so random if you ended up uknowingly building an actual viewer's house on this series lol Chances are low, but you never know!
I'm always nervous about this kind of thing happening lol
Beautiful place was lucky enough to visit. As an Aussie In Scotland I stuck out like a sore thumb 😂 I visited Dumfries and Stranraer. I will never forget going to a fish and chip shop and they all stared at me when I said no vinegar please! 😂😅 ❤
This is soooo nice!! I love it!! 😍
Glasgow weirdly reminds me of Melbourne. Similar vibes, at least in the city area.
I have been to Scotland once and that was about 15 years ago! Would love to go again
I did the nc500 last year and it was phenomenal!! Highly recommend 😍
Pierisim's MCM collection has amazing extractor fans you just NEED in your game, trust.
As always, I love your builds 🙂 Can't wait to see what's next 😃
Live on the west coast of Scotland and love every min of it.
Such a beautiful build as always ❤
This is such a lovely house😍 I would stay there in a heartbeat.
