Great video, I'm planning on this same swap.. Is there anything else that needs to be done aside from replacing the head? will I need to do anything with the ECM ?or is it plug and play?
Just the head, coolant tube/thermostat housing on back of engine, and the knock sensor. Easy peasy. I also swapped the stamped oil pan for the aluminum one just because I prefer it that way
What head studs did you use
I have a Y7 block with a Y8 head but I don't know how to time it

What tools needed to do this? And did you clean the parts before installing?
What did u clean the head surface with? It was clean as a whistle
He probably used a drill wiring tool to clean off the old dust and dirt
