    I'm about to start building mine, throwing high compression pistons in it, stainless steel flat valves, arp head and rod bolts and a y8 head

      U need more then that I built my 97 hatchback y8 u need do ur research it's not a mini y8 if u don't do it right y8 manifold y8 ecmu n harness y8 throttle body y8 fuel rail y8 injectors

      @@courtneylittle9205 well for an n/a 500$ build gaining 50hp was not bad, and I did have a skunk 2 y8 mani, and rewired what needed to be rewired! So yeah it was a mini me. Y7 block, z6 crank, y8 built head

    How did it run did it feal better then stock? I know you where going from non vtec.
    I'm doing similar build but y7 block, y5 head, pm6 pistons, 2 layer y8 head gasket, .010 shaved head. I'm looking at around 10.8:1
    This is going in a EK hatch as my new daily. Alots getting swaped from my HX coupe. I'm going for better mpgs sense I drive alot for work. It's getting pared onto a vx/cx trans, so Im not sure if I'll really feel the difference because the gears are so damn tall. That's why I was wondering if you felt any difference in torque.
    I'm expirementing with a couple things
    8 pound fly wheel lmao I might hate it.
    Light weight crank pulley.Crank walk lol
    Adjustable cam gear, I'm hoping to advance it a little and bring the power band down a little to make more torque down low for the highway cruising.
    Hatch is cut up a little
    Stripped but still looks relatively stock.
    I was going to put a turbod motor in it, but I bought a EG

    Can you use a d15 belt with the d16 head or do you have to get a d16 belt ? Also do you have have to use ARP head studs or can you just use back the D16 head studs in the d15 block

      I calculated just under 10:1. Not better mpg lol because VTEC 😅

      Yessir. I had to change the O2 sensors and I still get a CEL occasionally but it does pass. What's yours doing?

      Oh koo I have to change my 02 sensor out to its throwing me that code.

      Not trying to get crazy. Stock head and ecu, just want more fun on the daily. I did a stage 2 exedy clutch from eBay.
