@Skum Boiz I have a d16y8 block and not exactly sure if it's a z6 head or a d15bvtec head but it is stamped p08-1 95but I would assume it would be very similar to yours in the video never seen a d16y8 done like this nor messed with one really I bought the motor from a guy locally and come to find out it's not a y8 head from research I've done it's a mini me swap from what I've gathered
i swap my d17 with d15b form a drag race guy, with all d17 components, i don't really know whats in there but i really like the engine and i like your engine to sound nice, it's good powerful engine, i change oil pre and it's worth it, thank you

Hey man I got a question I'm hoping you might be able to answer. I am doing the same mini me swap you got running now. I ran into a problem with the air intake and it's hoses. I don't know if I should use the b7 hoses or the y8 ones. Also having trouble figuring out which ones to cap and not to cap. Considering that the y8 and b7 don't have the same exact hoses I am really scratching my head on this one. Any help would be appreciated.

i'm doing this exact combo in a few weeks. Will i be better of using the y8 camgear rather than the b7 camgear? Everyone told me to buy a y8 belt, but i figure thats wrong if you used a b7 cam... I'm also curious about the studs, i've been told the y8 has one different stud, so i'd need one y8 stud? And i got a y8 distributer, you figure that will work better than a b7 one?

why not use the y8 camgear with the y8 head?
wouldnt it match up perfectly if you have the y8 belt with it?
