Two very nice rock 'n' roll guitarists. I met Darrel Higham at the O2 when I went to see the Elvis exhibition. I saw him performing at a free concert. I had already bought his album Let's Rock Tonight just for the cover, a copy of Cochran's album.
When I was studying what strings were used back in that era, I found out that some players used nickel strings. As a result, I now use pure nickel strings on all my guitars.
Need to know song and author of last song. Great program from two experts in 50's rock & rockabilly. Good luck and keep on. God protect all of you and family.
Hi Randy and Darrel! A question : i like playing rockabilly guitar solo on electric guitar but i would like to know how to make a play back with a drum and bass? Do you know a drum machine with acoustic sound? It would be more fun than play alone...here no much musicien play this style of music. See you Thierry from France
Hi Thierry, I use a software called reaper for my jam tracks, although I record everything myself, it also has midi drum capabilities. It's kinda complex if you want to use it just for a drum loop. If yoz have an Apple computer or tablet, then Garage Band could be an option. I haven't used it, but other people seem to get pretty good results
