I lost 70 lbs. I’m only 5’1 and was well over 200lbs. I started 3 years ago by making slow life changes. After about 30-40lbs I was able to put my cpap on the shelf for good!! 🎉
New Subbie and I absolutely LOVE your channel & I hope it continues to grow. 📈 Don't know if your field is Family or Internal Med, but I wish you lived in my area and could be my PCP. 😢 God bless 🙏🏽💕✝️
I've enjoyed your videos thus far. Since Erythritol is so ubiquitous I'd love to see a video on that. (Also one on Monkfruit, as you mentioned) When I first started living low carb I eschewed sugar substitutes which was fine, but living a more long-term lifestyle, it is admittedly nice to be able to have the occasional "treat." Sure it doesn't taste as good as the former way of eating, but I like the health improvements. The good news is that the "not as good tasting" means I don't feel any temptation to over-eat these differently sweetened treats.
Thank you Susan; erythritol works for many people; I'll add it to the list of videos to make, as there's a lot to explore with erythritol (and other sugar alcohols). But briefly, the things to watch out for is gastrointestinal side effects (bloating, gas) and some people speculate on the effect of sugar alcohols on your microbiome, but no one knows for sure; it's a lot better than regular sugar at the very least
Dear Dr Kim, I have been on every kind of diet for the last 53years, name a year from 1970 and I can correspond at least one diet to that year. Diet sheet from the doctor, cabbage soup, horrible shakes, Schlick center, weight watchers, Lindora, Susan powder, Beverly Hills, South Beach, vegetarian, and dozens more including Phen Fen, diet pills, it’s all pretty much failed. Each diet left me heavier. I feel like I’m cursed. I’m 60 now, I have a back injury and bone on bone knees. Seriously is there anything that works for people like me? Fasting will drop weight but it’s not permanent. I need to lose 150 lbs. please help.
i’ve exercised until i dropped and went on a 800 calorie a day diet. gained weight. i have always been chubby and my body defaults backs to that, it seems
OMG, same, and i got a really bad psoriasis in 2021. Since i started my treatment, i put on 15kg. i stopped taking it, but i still can’t lose the weight, and my doctor says it's not the treatment. I tried every diet and did so much sport I hurt my right ankle...
Hi, just wondering if you have any tips to Gain weight in a healthy way? can I do so with a proper diet but without much exercise? Thx for these videos easy to understand.
as far as gaining weight, it depends on if trying to gain muscle or gaining weight that was lost due to illness; broad strokes, usually very hard to do it in a healthy manner without resistance training and progressive overload; high protein is a must

Glad I found this channel.
I would love to see Layne Norton debate you. Michael Phelps is over fed but he compensates for that in his activity level !!

Stop corn, which disregulates appetite control. Then maybe the low carb, shorter daily eating window becomes more feasible?
would be interested in a video into Bile acid malabsorption? been diagnosed with very severe but am not able to find many guidlines into it.
