Meditation really helps me. There are many free apps in your app store that are 5 mins long so that if ur having a stressful moment u can go to a quiet spot, pop on some headphones or ear buds and just follow what the app is telling you. Just last week I was in my Drs office getting ready to have my blood pressure taken and I was a bit nervous, my blood pressure registered high, I asked for five minutes and listened to my meditation app, nurse took it again and my BP came down to normal. Another thing that distresses me immediately is a warm foot bath with magnesium bath salts in it. Walmart has a cheapie vibrating footub for 20ish dollars and they sell the bath salts, foot bath helps me a lot, also a short walk distresses me, adult coloring or any art activity helps. Just a few ideas, I have a whole list of things that I pull from when I’m stressed out.
Wow, this is so helpful! I'm going to start tracking my micronutrients. I do strength training and yoga to increase flexibility. I know I need to hydrate more, but I just have this stubborn belly fat that I am not able to lose. It may be a good idea to get my hormone levels checked as well. I am so discouraged about stress loads. How do we know when we are stressed out to the point of increased cortisol? I wish there was a cortisol detector/guage/meter
I watch RUclips videos that specialize in menopausal weight loss. I’ve lost some but it’s been very sllloooww! Intermittent fasting and an eight hour window is supposed to be really good for women in menopause to lose weight. I’m trying that now. I hope it helps! I cannot stay asleep even with melatonin!
Interested in how they determined this as fasting hasn't been properly studied on any women let alone menopausal women. All the studies (I have seen) are done on men.
I’m 56. I’ve had a full hysterectomy. I do OMAD and eat 1,300 calories per day. Water and black coffee only. I’ve been doing this for 2 weeks and I’ve lost ZERO weight. I only eat Whole Foods. Why aren’t I losing any weight?? Please respond. Ty!
I am not a doctor or specialist, just a regular person. One thing you might consider is that you may be plateaued at the number. The body seeks homeostasis and so you may be stuck. You may need get back to a normal eating caloric content and build some muscles to raise your metabolic rate-research reverse dieting to maybe help with this.
I believe you and know you are trying. It's not as simple as insulin or calories in vs out. If you cannot lose weight on a consistent deficit you need to go to a hormone specialist and have them run a full pannel. This is a HUGE indicator that you have something wrong with your hormones. Most adult women need 1.5k a day if sedentary. Either your calculations are off or something is very wrong! Hope you can get some help.
Not an expert either, but from personal experience when I eat more calories about 1400 or 1500 or more, I tend to lose more weight. Also eating 2 or 3 meals, is better and improves your metabolism because your body works harder to digest those foods. It also helps with insulin resistance to feed your body regularly. Not eating after 6 or 6:30 is key. Also I have to reduce my carb intake. Walking If as well. I do these things consistently, it works, but that is the issue for me😂 Good luck to you!
Two weeks is really not enough time for results. You need to be patient and consistent. I wouldn't even bother regularly weighing yourself until you've been at it for a good two months.
I am 49 and it is a nightmare.Just fasted 36 hours.1 kg went off.I was always skinny and now I am a love handle lady.I am also not cute and young any more,so the 2 together….😅😅😅Thank you for the video.I am watching diet videos since 10 years,listening all the main audiobooks about keto,fasting,carnivoir,OMAD and I am just getting more and more confused.Thank You for clearing the air.🌸🌸🌸
You are very young. You have know idea how young you are. What makes women fat, ugly and "old" in most cases? 1. Religions/islam 2. Marriege 3. Places with lots of junk food. 4. No places for walking/no green places. 5. Lies, wores and crimes. 6. Misogynistic countries/people. 7. Too much people in the world. 8. Depression, stress and hormone imbalance (coused by the other things)... In matriarchy, everyone will be healthy and thin.

It's depressing, everything I watch wants you to join and pay money.....ugh people like me who need to lose weight, but don't have alot of money just can't win. I'm prediabetic and depressed. 😢 My thyroid is normal and I'm not a good candidate for hormone therapy (hight breast cancer) Seems hopeless sometimes 🙏🏼
I hear you! I’m 56 and only eat once per day. I had a full hysterectomy and I can’t lose one pound. I eat only 1,300 calories a day. Water only. It’s unreal. I’m going to have to just stop eating. Oh, and I walk 4 miles per day. Nothing works!!!
before i was treated for Thyroid Disease I designed my own diet. I couldn't lose weight at all no matter what but I know you do need carbs for Thyroid wellness and you need protein for phase 2 of liver detoxification. So even without any medicine for insulin OR thyroid. This works!.. I would drink 2 protein shakes a day with water and a few servings of fruit. Might want to eat more to get going and reduce appetite. But it works!.. I have lost 20 to 30 pounds doing this. So you would do this for about 3 days in a row and on 4th day eat normal dinner and the protein shakes to keep your metabolism from slowing down. This is very important. You don't need to pay people anything. I actually went from 180 to 145 doing that.
@@Knowledge-b6o Do you have days you eat more than 1300 calories? It's important to not get stuck with such a little amount of calories on a daily basis. Metabolism gets stuck on that set point. You should have a few days of eating more calories per week.
@@Knowledge-b6othat’s seems really low calories. I’m the same age and losing weight on 1600 calories. If you go too low your body can go into starvation mode and hold on to fat etc to keep it going
@@Knowledge-b6oI left a comment for you above but amberlynnfitess is right. You have managed to slow your metabolism and set point. You probably need to reverse diet for awhile to reset it before going on another diet. Please research reverse dieting--fitandnerdy has several videos on it.

Swimming and/or doing exercises in the swimming pool. Running or walking in the pool, lifting your legs, etc. You should feel nothing and it’s a very great work out you’ll feel it as soon as you get home.
I fast 20 hrs a day and use weights I sleep terrible and have teenagers so I’m high stress I can’t lose weight at all!!!! I can’t manage stress. It’s impossible.

Weird because I did intermediate fasting and it messed up my insulin control. I did it for to long like 18 hours and then I gained 15 pounds in a year

I used to think i waa healthy, but gace up suger and processed foods. Lost two pounds in three weeks
Fasting. Pure and simple. Costs nothing in money terms.
Not eating is a great way to lose muscle and become weak
