I think the test in manual mode with the DJI props needs to be done again. The almost dead battery was limiting your speed. Should be able to go way faster than 66 mph with the stock props in manual.
Yes that and he was not at an optimal angle for forward high speed flight. I get mine up in the 80mph+ zone with the stock props. It should technically be able to hit 87mph I believe. The problem was probably both battery sag and pilot technique but certainly the pitch angel flown was the main problem. That is just way too slow. I wouldn't doubt those Master Airscrew props would get closer to 100mph.
Agreed. I've hit 90mph on stock props and something like 96mph with a bit of a downward angle but not a full dive. I think he could have pitched way further forward. Also one burst doesn't kill the battery for mine, although he is in a colder climate so that might have something to do with the drain.
So my complete stock DJI Fpv makes over 140kmh in manual mode. Why says everyone on RUclips it will be faster with Master Airscrew and in every Video I can see its a little slower then stock? Interesting. Might try them out. What camera angle did you use in manual? Was it the same on both M mode flights? The normal props should go 140 km/h and I saw them do it.
Everything was default. When you switch to M mode, the camera angle automatically points upwards as you then tilt the drone at a 45 degree angle to fly forward.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 isn't prop wash the same as settling with power/ vortex ring state or something different? I'm slightly confused as vrs will happen with any helicopter and drone no matter how heavy but I guess more noticeable the heavier the aircraft. Another youtuber recommended the spitfire props for reducing prop wash though don't know how valid this is
@@justinspirational In the hobby, with a quad, prop wash will occur if you attempt to quickly do a 180 (speed massively reduced, then increased) or if you are descending quickly and then suddenly apply power to move forward or backwards. The flight control is what is keeping the 4 motors in sync to ensure the quad is maintaining your desired pitch, thus each motor spins up and down many times per second so in the above situations the process of maintaining lift and not stalling is causing the prop wash. Well balanced pro quads handle this without issue but super heavy bulky designed drones like the DJI FPV will get prop wash. Certainty the prop angle of pitch helps but only to a certain degree.

I bought the master air screw propellers put them on my drone. After about one weeks of flying, I went out to fly today got up to about 200 ft I felt a shutter on my DJI FPV drone, I turned around came back down to about 2 feet all of a sudden it quaked again for a seconds then all of a sudden it started flying backwards really fast, three rear propeller blades had broken off two blades on one propeller one blade on the other I try to land, and immediately it hit the ground, on inspection one of the three connecting clips that hold the propellers to the motor that broke off I could see the little red piece of plastic in the motor so I picked it out ,and probably caused the propeller blade to break and hit the other propeller, which broke two blades on that propeller when my drone hit the ground, The battery popped out, broke the brace I installed that stabilize the arms No damage to my drone no thanks to master air screwed
Same thing here except it was the 1st flight with 1 power loop. I noticed the shudder, landed it it, and the "tab feet" that hold the prop on just fell off. I got lucky.
It seems almost certain that your manual speed comparisons are inaccurate. Obviously the low battery warning you got while doing the stock test was a limiting factor on the speed, plus you flew it at different altitudes, and when you're that close to the ground, small differences like 5 meters can mean a noticable difference in windspeed, wind direction, air temperature, and air pressure (in the afternoon, the air close to the ground gets additional radiant heat from the earth, lowering air density and decreasing thrust power) - however most of the difference here I imagine is a result of the low battery (and possibly wind speed/direction). There's no way that the 25% additional speed you saw was an accurate representation of performance improvement from the propellers, when MAS was only able to achieve an 11% increase - and that test would have been conducted indoors in some warehouse with minimal variables, and they would have made sure the test conditions were as optimized as possible for their blades. A real world figure should show an increase of slightly less than 11%, not more than double that. They want to advertise the highest figures possible, so if it wasn't possible for them to get more than 11% gain, that means your test is clearly inaccurate, I'm sorry to say. The props look great though, and I'm sure they provide some benefit. I did laugh at your comment about it being too late if you see the increased visibility of the blade though. And I guess we couldn't see your observer because they were sitting inside the truck? 😉
They made my drone crash. They overloaded my motors making the aircraft to emergency brake and then tumbling out the sky straight into the ground ripping off my forward motor 😢
Man the way you are acting when it hit almost 32 second was as if you were hitting 120 miles an hour or something. Like... This drone is capable of doing almost 90 out-of-the-box. And I've seen some people on a windy day taking it out and getting over a hundred miles an hour with a Tailwind. I don't think these props made your unit scream at all😢
It’s capable of those speeds with the camera angle at 45 but no one wants to fly it like that If it’s doing 80 with a camera angle of 20 then that’s a major improvement

And using Mas props. But they sanded the props to be a bit more perfect and have better edges to cut with. But also zero accessories on the drone and a brand new battery only the 3rd run on it .

That may be what they write on paper. But top speed of any aircraft is always going to be adjusted to the altitude that the flight takes place that the weather et cetera et cetera That may be what they write on paper. The fastest I can maintain is about 80 to 88. The 2 places I mostly fly in are Albuquerque New Mexico and El Paso Texas. High in altitude above sea level.
And trust me to keep up with the EDFs that I Chase I try and squeeze every ounce of speed I can. It would seem they don't know how to slow down. Lol
wow😱😱😱
What he meant to say about his brightly colored skin is he keeps a brightly colored skin on it because, in case he crashes it, he needs to be able to find all the pieces😂
My Top Speed with standart Props are 45M/S in manuel Mode!!! Whats wrong with ur test? 🤔
In a dive yes or with a tail wind. :-)
Also, watch my video where I attached a GPS unit to show the true speed.
Sorry. That was no dive and wind from backside. 😃 Look: drive.google.com/file/d/1KbIilj0P6KYXF0bDtBFdbeI5oW-6Lev-/view?usp=drivesdk
Flightlog!
I got lucky.
any video?@@bartonfink5051
any video?
Can you play the old footage instead nextime
It is what it is. Watch my vid where I attached a gps module (since the info in the goggles is often less than accurate)
I can see jello effect with airscrew all the time.
They made my drone crash. They overloaded my motors making the aircraft to emergency brake and then tumbling out the sky straight into the ground ripping off my forward motor 😢

Wow so nice drone i wish i have 1😁 your lucky sir you have manny drone and you can buy what drone you want Good luck always to you sir👍
"Sir"
The potato drone can scream now 😂
thats slow here in usa my dji fpv will go 90mph
This is a - how hormozi calls it - grand slam offer.
I bought these, and after two Flys, I lost my drone. I don't think is a good idea to buy it.thats me.
👌🏿👨✈️
Good
Man the way you are acting when it hit almost 32 second was as if you were hitting 120 miles an hour or something. Like... This drone is capable of doing almost 90 out-of-the-box. And I've seen some people on a windy day taking it out and getting over a hundred miles an hour with a Tailwind. I don't think these props made your unit scream at all😢
It’s capable of those speeds with the camera angle at 45 but no one wants to fly it like that
If it’s doing 80 with a camera angle of 20 then that’s a major improvement
There are alot of videos of people using these and them breaking during flight. I wouldn't trust these they arent durable enough.
yea I'm suspect of those videos.. its like the same two videos everywhere but mainly amazon, weird.. my plus props are screaming and shredding just fine. the only thing is that MAS props are unforgiving, you crash or bump into something and they will snap but I feel it just makes me a better pilot.. I've snapped two pairs of original MAS props so far, my current MAS + props are still going strong! (fingers crossed)
many of reviews in amazon including my friend suffer because of this propeller, its going to crack in the second flight, you should not endorse this products
yea I'm suspect of those videos.. its like the same one or two videos everywhere but mainly amazon, weird.. the reviews everywhere else are great!.. MAS props are unforgiving, you crash or bump into something and they will snap but I feel it just makes me a better pilot.. I know many new pilots who installed props wrong and crashed when attempting to fly. I've snapped two pairs of original MAS props so far, my current MAS + props are still going strong! (fingers crossed).. if they go grenade on me I'll be quick to let everyone know!
