Hepzibah is a Skunk Girl not a fox. Now watch me get judge as a furry because I know that. It's from a comic strip called Pogo. Her real name is a series of scents so in story Corsair named her after Miz Ma'm'selle Hepzibah from the comic strip.
Have not read Kevin Smith's Marvel Knights Daredevil since when it first came out but do remember being totally underwhelmed and wondered what all the fuss was about. More than likely,some of it was due to him being a "big name." Of course,if you enjoyed it,that's okay too. :-)
Frankly, all his books, are stuck in the era he was reading, and he usually has free reign to bring back dead characters, or ignore the continuity of the time.
We like to go by John Byrne 's Thing #3 revelation because it's so funny. YES we know it's been retconned out. YES we're going to keep making the joke. Thanks!

Guardian devil is the greatest daredevil story in my opinion. I have loved it since I was 17 and it hit my feels.
