Chip is one of my favorite active creators right now. He is always insightful and funny. I am grateful to Sal and Chip for sitting down and chatting. It was really fun to listen to!
I'll never understand why some people don't enjoy these interviews. Hearing the inspiration for stories, seeing creators passion about their work, and it always seems like Sal and the guest are enjoying the conversation. It's great.
And now I want to play paintball/airsoft with a Captain America shield. That sounds fantastic. Lol
Creator interviews don’t get as many views on *any* comic book-based channel, not just this one. IDK why either because I enjoy the insights.
@@C4rea Yeah, people like comics. They like to get a taste of what might be coming up. They like the creators, if they are watching a channel I assume they like the hosts. Seems like they would be a hit. I think they are fascinating. It's also fun to hear writers just being comics fans themselves.
I always try to watch. These are fun and listening to their inspiration feels so good but sometimes I am not able to.

When Chip leaned into the camera and was like "im real tired Sal..." i fucking lost it. He his hilarious and i love these interviews
I love the almost simultaneous sigh of exhilaration at 50:26 not only between Sal and Chip, but from everybody watching this scene after hearing Chip describe the feeling of paintballs bouncing off of the Captain America shield.
The interviews with Chip are honestly my favorite at this point. Sal killing it again with these! Every single one is such cool insight. Great job man!
the DD issue issue about kingpin that zdarski said was his favorite is my favorite of his. just sooo good
I'm loving what Chip is doing with The Knight and I can't wait to see how he incorporates that history into his Batman starting next month
Is chip taking over the main batman title or is he doing like a mini series
@@coolcomics hes taking over the main title starting with number 125 next month and he's 4 or 5 issues into a miniseries about Bruce's time training under Ducard, Kirigi, and the rest.

One of my current favourite writers
I found a copy of “Chip Zdarsky’s Prison Funnies” (the actual title) in a fifty cent box last year, which I believe was his first comic (when he was still drawing).
And I bought “Monsters Cops” 1 new because it looked fun, when he was still unknown.
I was just thinking about Chip and Sal’s last interview. I think you should do Chiptember.
