Yeah, but I kinda of hate how Superboy Prime is just kinda done. I wanted to write a fun series with pre new 52 him as one of the characters. Where he finally gets that he's become a tragic villian, loses around 80% of his powers, gives up the Superboy-Prime hero persona to make another, learns to love comics again, makes some Super friends who pity him, and focus on the fact the Prime is a Dork who thinks he's amazing and wants to be the big hero but has comedically terrible instincts. Like, he could be really fun if done right. I think 🤔
These interviews are why I picked JL Incarnate, JL 75 and plan on getting Dark Crisis. Really appreciate and respect Josh W getting out and promoting these books.
"If you're Deathstroke, what's the first thing you go after. It's the Teen fucking Titans" Joshua giving the low down on on what Deathstroke is doing is funny cuz that's exactly what he would do lol
Also this was an amazing interview everything I hear Williamson I trust him even more with how much he cares about DC. And I hear the optimism in your voice too Sal. I hear you excited just like I'm excited and this just makes me even more excited to get my hands on this entire story. 1 shots and all. Amazing video
Honestly, I'm hoping that Pariah doesn't end up dying. His histrionics are annoying but when you think about it he is also suffering from PTSD. In the right hands, you could have an interesting story of an immortal man having to become accountable for his actions but also trying to make peace with what has happened to him. Also, I would like DC comics to release a good story about mental health especially after the disaster that was Heroes in Crisis.
I can't because "I hate the Legitmazation of Adult Jon as Superman" I hate the age up and hate the new series. But Joshua Williams has a lot a love for DC so 🤷 at it won't be dreadful. He wants it to be about the new and old characters 🙌👏🏾🙌👏🏾 good luck. 👍
Josh really gets what makes DC Comics great. It puts me at ease that someone who loves the company so much is in charge of the sequel to Crisis on Infinite Earths.
I. Love. This. Guy. May seem a little weird, but while he was talking about the history of DC, my first thought was that Cave Carson is still around. I'm spending a few months reading only horror/SF comics from the 50s, and superheroes from the start of the silver age. (First appearance of Cave Carson is in my pile for Sat.) I am an aging DC who is always ready to see what's next! And I thank allegedGod for digital. PS: there is so much awesome from then. OTOH, I just read a story by my step-grandfather [name withheld] in House of Mystery that was one of the worst things I've ever read... luckily it's uncommon, even from him.
@@salvatoreocello lol, I agree but atleast their lets say "botched" ideas will hopefully inspire younger writers to go out and try to make good, logical flowing Stories.
Listening to Joshua Williamson description of pariah literally after alter watching this weeks weekly pull was like wow yeah that’s literally a emo watcher
Ppl love to hate and go with popular opinion but josh is a great writer and the event will most likely be reflective of his talent not the woes that bled through dc

Josh explaining why superboy-prime isn’t in justice league #75 just makes me love his care and delicateness to the dc universe and it’s long history

Always great hearing Josh Williamson talk dc lore. Great cast as always!
You can tell how hyped he is for everyone and himself since he has no one to Truly talk about this story to 😂

I am so happy for Sal that he gets to do these... And people seem to enjoy them too!
I need all the ComicPop content. Keep up the good work!
