What people don't know is that these things are not really that heavy. They are big, maybe 20 000 pounds, but they don't weigh 100 tons. A pick up can move them around, at slow speeds, if you know what you are doing....like this guy. He seems to know what he is doing. I wouldn't hesitate to hook my F250 to a mobile and move it 50 miles today! I know all this becuse I haul 60 000 pounds EVERY day. I drive a truck.
If that is a 12'x55' mobile home, its about 10,000#. Its not the weight, its because they are tongue heavy. We have a 16'x80' and itself weighs about 16 tons. With all axles under it, it is very tongue heavy as its weight placement is pushed forward because of axle placement. That's to give the toter truck traction when moving them around.
i bet the frames not bent, the box of the truck is prob tiltled a bit same thing happens to my pickup. the bolts lossins and the box of the truck wirll tilts up Like a ROCK lol Go chevy. cool vid
Nice Work there dude. Those gutsy Ala boys can drive a truck. I forgot to check, was he waring a T and cig hanging out the side of his mouth. None the less, great job.
@account0220 no 55 foot is illegal but in alabama the cops dont care if your in the country lol. oh and i also live in alabama although in the city =/ oh well.
exactly, you had to mod the chevy with different shit to make it tow a litte trailer...shows you how tough the cheapest heap ever visioned yet is.... (chevy)
Being a 55', its probably a 12' wide. That'll put it around 11,000#. But the weight is all forward on the tongue because of axle placement. We have a 16'x80' and this is around 16 tons and very tongue heavy even with all the axles under it. No pickup will move this one.
5 lug trucks are 2wd 6 lug 2wds are heavy 1/2 tons 6 lug does not always mean heavy 1/2 ton all 4x4 1/2 tons are 6 lug. If it was a heavy 1/2 ton or light 3/4 ton it would have a 14 bolt semi float 6 lug axle. All full 3/4 and 1 ton trucks are full float 8 lug.
Home Theater Junky your the one in a few that know this exactly to the tee. this paragraph of info would get s bunch of ding dongs arguing with each other for hours
@aglandcattleman thats a chevy...nothing wrong pulling a little trailier
That 1500 looks like it's about to SNAP IN HALF!
That's just the warm up pull. Here is the real pull: ruclips.net/video/CIs9C_s6hyU/видео.html

It doesn't matter what chevy you got just hook something up to it and it will pull it all day

chevys do last, but i am the only one who has ever had problems with the 700r4, we went through 7 transmissions.

CHEVY RUNS DEEP, BYATCH!!!
most people just move their furniture around nor the whole house lol. wow didn't think a 1\2 ton would he able to tow that.
Larry Meyers you could probably swap the gears on the v6 modle to 411 and have it pull that same lode
whatever ppl r sayin about chevy how good they are, theyre wrong, chevy "SUCKS" . the trailer is just super light

Troy Hammett i moved a 14 by 65 trailer through a sandy pasture with my half ton ford
"Throw your shit in the house kids, We're moving! Get in the truck!"
