I was surprised how well it handled the tongue weight, I have hooked up to a newer heavier double wide just to move it a few feet so that my mover guy can get hooked up to it, “double wide had to be moved 50 miles and I only use my truck for short distance on back roads. Amazing story. Did the car break down any. That was a huge distance for this car to pull the heavy trailer house. That’s before they started referring to them by mobile home or manufactured home. In 1958 my family also lived in a trailer house. It was 8 X 43 feet. Once we moved it a short distance with a bulldozer. Didn’t have to get on the highway, but relocated it farther up the hill from where it was first located. I was just 9 or 10 yrs old and this was exciting to watch for a kid. We probably moved that trailer house five or six times before my dad sold it.

Take it from me, a man who retired from the mobile/manufactured home industry (hauling, setting-up, etc.), an empty mid/late 70's-80's Fleetwood like this (2 axles) would be very do-able with a 3/4 ton pickup (camper special preferred). But won't work with just a bumper mounted ball. You'd need a class 3 hitch to the frame of the truck to do it.
