Thanks bro and yeah ima have to do mine but I want to replace the radiator too
i’d recommend either CSF or KOYO!
Thanks! Did the radiator on my girlfriends 03 (edit, it is actually the last month of 2002 model year) a few months back but have been having drips the last few weeks in the garage. Looks like its coming from the thermostat housing, so gonna do this over the weekend. Gonna try to reuse the coolant!
Unless it’s super old, nasty, or gets oil or something odd in it there’s really no reason not to reuse it! Good luck!
keep on it broski
Seems super simple. Thanks
solid video man, appeaciate it!
Thank you for the kind words!!!
Great vid.
Thanks bro
I've got a turbo in my way..... 😂
thanks bro!!! i was able to do it fast without a lift thanks to this video
i’m happy it was a helpful video!!
Would it be possible to do this without draining the coolant?
Absolutely not. If you don’t drain it, when you pull the thermostat housing off it’ll go everywhere. There’s no way to do it without draining the coolant
@@2jneex would all the coolant come pouring out from the thermostat housing?
It would, yeah. The back of the water pump is what connects to that lower radiator hose which acts as the thermostat housing. All the coolant would come pouring out, especially because it’s sloped downward off the back of the water pump
