If you don’t kill Muffet immediately, the dialogue is insane, because she basically says she doesn’t care about anyone unless they’re a spider, and if she left then hotland would’ve closed, making it so you won’t be able to kill more monsters, and stopping your from gaining EXP and LOVE.
i actually, did this. let me explain, i didn't use hacks but at the temmie village there is a glitch where you can buy the temmie flakes that are on sale and sell them you get profit, and i used a macro and did it for like a day. that's how i bought it
If you give her all your money and wait till the last dialogue before she give us and attack her you one-shot her, earn new dialogue, and get 999 or more money. It's a win-win situation!
There's actually an easier but time consuming way to get that amount: all you do is move any items you currently have to a box then go back to Gerson's and fill up your inventory and box space on Cloudy Glasses. Then you go to the Team Shop, sell them at a higher price, go back to Gerson's and keep going until you're full. IMPORTANT: On every eight sell, Temmie will offer to pay more. Refuse at first then she'll offer even more which you can take. Don't refuse it or you'll get nothing and have to wait for it to come back round
If you use hacks to get 9999G you can also try and pay Sans' tab on Grillby's but he doesn't let you. And i think he kinda pokes at the player about how did we get all that money so fast

Two different things. You have to use the ruins one in the fight. The 9999 one gets new dialogue and no fight.
