Not the "fallen human" you name at the start. So therefore if you name them "nobody", the scene where Sans says "i'm talking to nobody" to Papyrus while talking with Frisk, he won't be saying who he's actually talking to. That would only work if Sans talked to the name-able human whom you named "nobody", then told Papyrus he was talking to nobody. Sorry for the long text I just wanted to explain :(

An interesting part (idk if intentional or not) is that while most characters refuse because it's their name, Flowey says "I already chose that name" implying that even he once had the choice to choose his name. Asriel will call Chara by the player s' name but after that there is a dialogue saying: "M y N a m e I s" Then you return with Frisk to the trash zone so technically it isn't 100% confirmed the first fallen human is Chara.

I once named myself DEATH and i had an extention that covered the name and the stats, when i beat Sans then my little brother came and when he saw Chara say "Greetings, i am DEATH" He screamed so much that our neighbours called the cops (our parents weren't home) and thought someone died. lmao i'll never forget his face

You are naming the other human, the one with a yellow-striped green shirt and the one that used to be friends with Asriel. In the talking scene, Sans is talking to Frisk. Not the "fallen human" you name at the start. So therefore if you name them "nobody", the scene where Sans says "i'm talking to nobody" to Papyrus while talking with Frisk, he won't be saying who he's actually talking to. That would only work if Sans talked to the name-able human whom you named "nobody", then told Papyrus he was talking to nobody. Sorry for the long text I just wanted to explain :(

The Fact That naming the Fallen Human "Gaster" Would Just Restart the game, makes me think that Gaster Himself restarted the Game as a Sign of Denial, and that gaster may be out there somewhere in the void, listening and watching.

An interesting part (idk if intentional or not) is that while most characters refuse because it's their name, Flowey says "I already chose that name" implying that even he once had the choice to choose his name. I'm guessing it's after the flower was injected with determination and was for the first time able to save and reset.

@@spriterefreshed935 In the cutscene that triggers before Frisk ends up in the trash zone after the Undyne chase we can see "dialogues" between Asriel and the first fallen human/Chara.
Asriel will call Chara by the player s' name but after that there is a dialogue saying: "M y N a m e I s"
Then you return with Frisk to the trash zone so technically it isn't 100% confirmed the first fallen human is Chara.
