This is music in its truest form for me. She has a totally unique sound. Sierra is a breath of fresh air between all those 13 in a dozen musicians of this time. Much appreciation and love from The Netherlands.

I’m an old fart and boy does Sierra provide some of that old times romance in m life - the voice, the lyrics, how she sings it - she glows. just didn’t want to cheapen my comment with a nod to her aesthetics - she is a fabulous artist who breathes life into her songs

People look at me weird when I say my celebrity crush is Sierra Ferrell. But I understand they are just common folk who haven't laid eyes on her yet. A goddess who can sing like a bird and strum the guitar like a true outlaw? I think this is one of her tracks that really shines as a solo. The version from about 4 years ago played in an old church is just a special as this. She's just pure medicine.

I was pregnant and never told him due to my health and situation. Time does heal. This healed a small part of me inside as well. My son is now openly adopted . I never told him and i carry that with me every day. 😢💔.

Why does everyone sing folk with the same weird dialect - for instance when she raises her upper lip during 'place' or briefly pushes her tongue to the roof of her mouth when saying 'silver' or using a 'w' in a word with the first letter starting with 'b'. I see it all the time and it makes everyone the same to me.

That said, I, at 69 years old, don't believe any woman goes to a honky tonk because she is so overflowing with love that she has to sleep with a man or her chest will explode. An ex sent me a link To Serrias Music. I'm also a musician who plays folk blues and such. He sent me this years after we parted ways and said , she reminds me of you in every way ,looks voice and sound. I think of you often. This was the song. I was pregnant and never told him . 😢💔. My son is now In an option adoption and they are wonderful kind people. It still hurts immensely but he sent me this song and it healed a small part of it. He still doesn't know. Life is not a straight line always .
