- This soundtrack cover is about The Expanse character Marco Inaros and his speech of retaliation against Earth and Mars in The Expanse series season 5 (and season 4).
The music tracks I covered (composed by Clinton Shorter) are from season 5 of The Expanse as well. The soundtrack album has not been published yet, so I just named these soundtracks to have something to refer to.
You can hear the first part in episode 1, when Amos is landing on the moon. Let's just call it the Arrival on Luna.
The second part is from episode 4, as tycho is being attacked, starting right at the moment Fred Johnson gets shot. Wanted to call it Fred Johnsons Assassination or Fred Johnsons death, but Attack on Tycho somehow has more punch to it.
The last little idea I took from episode 1 again, when Amos takes out a bunch of guys in the ship's bathroom. It's so short I did't mind giving it a name.
I hope you like the way I remade and mashed these tracks, hopefully the original soundtrack hits earth soon! Clinton Shorters music is awesome!

Sadly, I had to cut out parts of the speech to make it fit because I was already overloading the music cover with it. But I think it turned out acceptable.

I keep returning to this video, the synergy between the visuals, the music and the audio really embodies the ideas behind Marco. Perhaps if we have more material in the future, you could do one on Laconia? I think with the combination of "Generational Thinking" (from season 4 score, a variation on this is played in the last scene of season 5), the last scenes and credits of season 5, and the Sauveterre speech there is already a lot there to set the tone. Really excited to see your future work :)

I definetely see the possibility that I will do one on Laconia, but that will depend on what we see and hear next season. Good catch with Generational Thinking, by the way. I watched the last scene of s5 again and you're absolutely right, it is the same theme. 👍
I can't promise you that I will make a cover for this one, but there definetely will be more The Expanse videos. It's one of my favourite series and there are so many nice themes from Clinton Shoorter that I would like to cover already (think "To Illus", "First Steps", "Naomis Desperation, Spacejump 1, Spacejump 2",...) . I even thought about having a video for each main character, but well... we will see. I'm really slow in creating these, and there is a lot of stuff on my list. Just didn't want to make one Expanse cover after the other (otherwise, Naomis spacejump might have been the next...maybe 😉☕).
