Dann Kreuzbandriss beim Sport, direkt darauf unerwartet neue Jobausrichtung, und vergangene Woche (zwei Tage vor angesetzter Knie-Op🙄) Corona positiv mit allen schönen Nebenwirkungen… Es ist halt auch immer irgendwas. Hey Stephanie! 👋 The official sheet music from the Rammstein Klavier album is quite good. It's pretty much exactly what you hear on the album tracks. I can't sight read myself. If there already exists sheet music for a piece I want to play, I use my very rudimentary reading skills just to analyse the piece to get an idea of the structure, repeating patterns and so on. Visualizing helps me to structure the music in my head, so even if I cover some music by ear, I often create some simple sheet music myself, just so I can make some annotations that help me guide me through the separate passages of the piece. So, for me it's less about actively reading but more about visualisation of what I'm doing and where I am. Therefore, nevermind reading sheet music. It can help you, if it helps you. 😉 If you're good with playing things by ear, you can get along just fine without it. It really depends on your playstyle and your ambitions, if you need it or not. How do you usually learn to play a piano piece? Just by ear or do you try to find out how people play it by watching them (like syntheasia and stuff like that)? The piece is quite simple (otherwise a guy like me couldn't play it 😂). As many others of the Klavier album tracks, it's a simple pattern that keeps reapeating itself ninety percent of the time. As soon as you can get your head around the left hand jumps you're basically good to go. Just start out very slowly until you know the separate parts by hard and then increase the speed to its actual tempo. Have fun playing! 🎹 Cheers! ☕
