PRACTICING MY WEDDING MAKEUP + LIFE UPDATES | moving to LA & why I am reverting to Islam

I'm doing my own makeup for my wedding, so today we're practicing exactly how I'm going to do my makeup and also chatting about some major life updates! specifically- why the heck I left NYC and moved to LA (I'm still in denial), and also some updates on a spiritual front. Wow what a surprise after finding you from your Huda beauty review video! Love you sister in Islam 💖 People who judge people who convert to Islam because of influence from a partner are silly - what do you expect when a person loves another, surely their core beliefs are a significant factor that will have some influence. As a Muslim, I can only see it as natural that a good-hearted person not blinded by ego sees Islam for what it is when they encounter it.
Please don't pressure yourself to be perfect about BDS/ ethical consumption! The same goes for Islamic practice. You will get a lot of people having a say about the rituals and your outward Islamic practice (with good intentions most of the time), but my number 1 advice is to ignore them all and focus on the spiritual foundations of belief. Everything else will come naturally with time ✨ I find that people who are concerned with true justice and have truly empathetic hearts find their way to Islam eventually, and I see that here!
