I know exactly what you mean about not wanting someone else to do your makeup. I have hated 90% of the makeup I’ve had done. It came out way too heavy, or not right for my face. When I get married I will 100% be doing my own. Thanks for showing your take, it looks amazing and you looked sooo gorg on your big day 🤍🤍

I’m getting married in November and I thought of this so many times but I couldn’t commit. I’m the same as you not into make up,I can’t blend like the most I can do is eyeliner. In high school I tried to do my own make up for prom and worse thing ever lol. So to be stress free I hire a make up artist but this is for sure the look I’m going for ✨
I did my own wedding makeup. And it was the best decision ever. I never like it when people do my makeup.I like less makeup and they always want to put so much on. Plus like you said you know your face and I felt confident when I made myself up. But one regret I forgot my lipstick 💄
What do u think about slick back look for wedding. Hair down sleek middle part tucked perfectly behind both ears and wear a pair of big hoop earrings my 2nd choice would be a sleek ponytail with a middle part using a scrungie notch hair tie or elastic

doing your own bridal makeup is not wise. I have seen so many women do it and it doesn't look right at all. I suggest talking with your artist if you do not like something. There are so many things that you can mess up and regret when photos come out.
