I thought the pink kitchen came out nicely. The room wasn’t taking itself too seriously and was cheery, warm, and inviting. All the elements complimented one another.
Loved it all! The dressing room in the bedroom was 🔥. The lime wash juxtaposed to the wood paneling bookcase was 💣!!! LOVE IT! The kitchen was serene and beautiful 😍.
I like some of what Mike Rupp did in, what was that? The library? Drawing room? But the lime wash was killing it. I can’t believe lime wash is back in style. That dull, gray, cement-like look just wasn’t cohesive with the rest of the room. I feel like he added it because it’s trending. There was a dichotomy of cool and warm and slick and dusty, that just didn’t work.
I guess all designers and design firms in NYC are white. They couldn't give an opportunity to one BIPOC designer? Other than that, all the rooms are very artful and unique.
The primary bedroom done by Tara MacCauley was not a relaxing space. The pink eye mirror was awful and the whole room was more like an art installation than a place where you’d want to unwind at the end of the day. I don’t like black, white, and hot pink together anyway. It reminds me of Good & Plenty, which I hate. The room was impractical and, dare I say, ugly.

What was the third room? A parlor? It was nice. A lot of pastels and very feminine, but nice.

Sorry Rupp the only females into your aesthetic are studs 🤷🏽♀️. Personally I thought the kitchen was the best.
