YES! I'm able to do tuck/crunch to hollow now with 15lbs and not letting my feet touch the ground!! I couldn't even do it without weights before... Way to go!

Quads showing definition that I hadn’t seen since in my 30’s. 66 now. Loving the epic program. Have never had such a great program. All others I did never got me this far, this fast.
I am completely drenched in sweat after this workout! I got a bit light headed so had to slow down and take an extra minute beak in between complexes to catch my breath but completed the whole workout and had to modify and do the ab portion without my dumbbells.
Caroline, not only are your workouts the best I've ever done (and I'm not even exaggerating), but the soundtrack is amaaaaaaaaaazing. Thank you again for this wonderful program. You're the best!
I started this workout with a 8lb weight! Mind you I started day 1 with just body weight, week 2 started with a 5lb weight. To know that the 5lb is light to me when it was heavy at first means I’m only getting stronger !
the best feeling is when you don't feel like working-out but then you start and go straight to the end... I'm feeling really EPIC right now (and this was probably the hardest so far)!!!!
I was so scared to start this workout bc I had read the comments and people were like 'this is the hardest one so far' and my weak knees have been put through enough with day 19 + 20. However.... I did it! So proud of myself. Caroline's workouts are so enjoyable that I actually get my outfit + living room ready for my workout before I go to bed so that in the morning it will all be waiting for me to get to it! Me too! I just finished this workout and it was my wrists and forearms which gave me absolute hell! My legs on the other hand, displayed impressive progress in their strength
I'm this way for arm days as well. Had to drop my 15's because it kills my wrists too much. I added leg weights though and it's crazy how much it's upped the game😳😁

I love it when I start a workout not feeling that great and unsure if I can do it, but finish feeling so much better! I hadn't slept well, was a bit headachy and nauseous pre-workout, but now I'm miraculously cured 😆 ordered heavier (adjustable) dumbbells yesterday and can't wait to start working my way up those weights😄

Helloooooo Team... so I'm writing this dripping as this is one hot session..so debated 12.5 or 10kg DB. Started with the heavier but had to drop back to 10kgs as it was simply toooooo tough. This is a real burner, honestly at times I thought will I get through this, but then when I hit the on tip toes and I held my balance I sort of got my mojo back. Powered on through and once I got the the core was a happy bunny I finished. You definitely also feel the forearms and wrists hold those DBs. Feel great now. Caroline well done on the format and once again on the edit it really is super quality. Thanks to all my community chums for pushing me on daily since I subscribed way back in April and to you Caroline for just being your inspirational self. See ya tomorrow 😉
Hi Anthony...lovely comment...always great to hear from you and you give us a lot of motivation too! I did it with 8 kg dumbbells as that’s what I have...but I had a great workout! Yes...very sweaty at the end. Did you find, like me, that the format made the time fly by? I’m just in the process of moving more of my university teaching on line...so making videos etc!! I don’t quite have the technical skill of Caroline in producing such polished format but the students don’t seem to mind! I think in NI there is now a rule that all university teaching should be online unless it absolutely can’t be...but in England it is being left to us to decide. That actually makes it much harder! @@matthewalmond4688 Matthew I would love to lie and say it flew by but the first half was a struggle 😫 but you get days like that so I focussed on the form and made it through. Yea I have to produce a lot of videos for my work luckily we have a videographer for the really tricky stuff but Im very fussy so we always produce really good edits. Thats why I love the quality of these. Actually PPT is an amazing tool for video production especially when animation is needed and you can embed your videos then save the whole project as one video. The old wrists and forearms are getting a wee working as well. Happy Monday Matthew , Im going to do some cardio by cleaning the house 🏠
Hi Anthony...yes a good bit of housework is always good cardio! It’s odd but while I feel totally relaxed in public speaking and teaching a live audience I still feel awkward in front of a video camera. I think the reason is that a live audience gives you instantaneous feedback in body language, facial expression etc so you can adjust things, but a video camera doesn’t. And I am not confident with technology.But I am perhaps slowly getting better! I have a couple of videos to make on Raman spectroscopy tomorrow! Enjoy the rest of your day...and see you for day 22! @@matthewalmond4688 I'm awful on video, prefer to be working the audience. I never do any videos in our place I always delegate. Us NI folk tend to talk very quick. I remember interviewing in London and everyone kept saying could you repeat that please🤣🤣🤣🤣. Meanwhile in the US the NI accent is really easily undertood when I was interviewing there they always said love the Scottish accent 😠 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Caroline is a natural and a great accent 😀

WOOT - loved this one, slayed me in the best way ever. I have skipped over day 20 as I have to be silent at some times when its early a.m. ... but I DO revisit EVERY one that I have to skip over at another time when I don’t have to be quiet. First time doing complexes. They were soooo hard. Used 20lbs. I didn’t put them down, but I did stop for most with about a minute left to the timer. So it was extra needed rest for me. Still worked tons and felt those lunges. Ufff… glad that was done. Will see how I progress with these in future workouts. Thanks Caroline for pushing us!
This was very challenging! I stopped for an extra minute in the middle to collect myself, but over all I think I did pretty well. One of the hardest days right next to burpee hit haha.
I finished this drenched in sweat! Probably the most I have sweated to a workout - ever. I did feel like this was a bit easier than the lunges one because I could do majority of these. Great workout!

Extremely challenging workout, those darn complexes. I see why Caroline went much lighter. I initially started with my 30’s and quickly realized I couldn’t keep up with the pace at that weight so dropped to 25’s and still struggled. The downside for me was I like to go as heavy as possible, especially on leg day but my body wasn’t having that today. She said it would get your heart rate up and indeed it did. It felt sordove like a low impact hiit lol. Thanks for giving us a variety of workouts and always challenging us to push to the limit!
Finished this workout in the evening!!! Such a good burn for legs!!! Time really passed fast even though each set was for 3 mins. I enjoyed doing complex !!!! Before doing your workouts I wasn't even aware of such type of exercises!!! Because of you I am doing those workouts at home which were only possible to do at gym under trainer's instructions. You are too amazing trainer!!! Thank you so much for all these great and extraordinary workouts and also for very helpful and important instructions to perform them!!!! Oh man, this was a tough one. I won't lie, I took longer breaks than I was supposed to, but I'm glad I made it through the whole thing without throwing in the towel. I can't wait for shoulders tomorrow!
oh my, I really struggled to push myself through the first 30% of this workout ( using 9.5 kg dumbbells) and then I told myself that I can do it and so I did! to anyone reading this : you need to believe in yourself first! you're strong and resilient ! week 5 here we go!!!
This was the hardest workout by far for me. I was shaking like craaaaaazy!! But the feeling of satisfaction when i completed it was amazing. Keep on pushing!!!

I have to admit that at some points I had to switch to 8 kg, it definately was very challenging. But I did it at my own pace, without trying to hurry too much. Great workout! Was extra proud at the end :D

I hate working out. But my dear Caroline I've been doing your workouts since the second of januari and I must say I loooooove it.... My arms are more toned I lost about 4 centimeters around my belly.. And after my 3 kids I started getting bigger and bigger.. I feel stronger and more confident.. ✅10/19 - Caroline, I’m so mad at you right now! Holly molly!! BRUTAL!!!! This is another *DCBG* !!! This is your most challenging workout for me ... physically, but more so mentally! Thank goodness I was smart enough to used 15lbs and not my 20s. The hardest complex was the unilateral/uneven leg segment. 💀 You weren’t kidding when you said there was cardio. 151 max HR, 126 avg HR. This stat is basically what I would get doing one of your HIIT workouts. 🔥 I’m so glad I ticked this off. I don’t know about the 20 minutes complex, Caroline. If you do post one, I’ll use my 5lbs DBs. 😂 I’ll love you again in an hour.
@@matthewalmond4688 Hi Matthew, this was TOUGH. Ouchie. Ouchie. Ouchie! The first time I was introduced to a complex was last Friday. But, three minute of straight work was a challenge!!! I went with a lighter weight and tried to match Caroline’s pace but she zoomed through her reps, especially during the pivot lunges. For me, this workout intensity is up there with her first 1-hour HIIT. My hamstrings are super tight since Friday; I’m glad it’ll be shoulders tomorrow.
I didn’t realise the workout got over for the first time, started week 5..M sure m getting stronger...thank you Caroline for amazing workout program...I look forward to exercise every single morning and i swear I don’t miss Gym..Anyone doing it, keep grinding and lets get strong together 💪
This is one of her hardest leg complexes to date . 4 moves for 10 reps each for 3 min is quite something ! Loved this a lot and I’ve done many leg complexes from Caroline . Heart rate up throughout ! Amazing !

Oooof this one was, I have to say was brutal. The complex made it so much more challenging, I have been used to doing supersets before but this one takes it to a whole other level. Happy I managed to use 10kg DBs like Caroline! Reached 180 HR 💓 and burned over 400 calories🔥 Loved the clean to squats and added some extra heavy snatches at the end😁 Thank you Caroline for the ever challenging, varied and dynamic workouts! I'm not looking forward to the end of EPIC but I'm already planning to re-do the whole thing and keep increasing my weights! ^^

I think this was one of the toughest yet! I may just be saying that because my radiators went on today... even with all of the windows open on a chilly day I had to step outside during the breaks! Thank you for another killer day!!!
My ‘gym’ is in my unheated basement. For most of the summer, I had the fan running. Today is the first day the fan stayed off. Hopefully I can get through the next 5 weeks without having to bundle up in sweats. It gets really cold down there in the winter. I do have an alternate plan so that I won’t have to miss work when the snow flies.

My forearms were so tight after the clean to squat... and wow did those curtsy lunges feel *that* much harder after the close squat on toes! I challenged myself and was able to use 20lb dumbells thru the whole workout! Feels so good knowing I’m getting stronger all the time with you, Caroline!! I just want to encourage everyone to take before pictures, halfway through pictures, and after because getting on a scale is not going to show you the whole story. It's fun to see the transformation!
Seeing this comment makes me feel so much better. I've been doing Weight Watchers since January 6th, 2020 and lost 33 lbs in a year, exercising every single day (366 days). I have continued exercising everyday and found Caroline and started this program (I will be doing Day 21 tomorrow). Since January 4th, 2021, the scale has not budged and it's super discouraging since I would like to lose another 17 lbs. 😅

I love it when I start a workout not feeling that great and unsure if I can do it, but finish feeling so much better! I hadn't slept well, was a bit headachy and nauseous pre-workout, but now I'm miraculously cured 😆 ordered heavier (adjustable) dumbbells yesterday and can't wait to start working my way up those weights😄
Caroline today's workout was, I think, the most challenging so far. Loved😂(and hated😭) it in equal measures. I'll be walking funny tomorrow.

Helloooooo Team... so I'm writing this dripping as this is one hot session..so debated 12.5 or 10kg DB. Started with the heavier but had to drop back to 10kgs as it was simply toooooo tough. This is a real burner, honestly at times I thought will I get through this, but then when I hit the on tip toes and I held my balance I sort of got my mojo back. Powered on through and once I got the the core was a happy bunny I finished. You definitely also feel the forearms and wrists hold those DBs. Feel great now. Caroline well done on the format and once again on the edit it really is super quality. Thanks to all my community chums for pushing me on daily since I subscribed way back in April and to you Caroline for just being your inspirational self. See ya tomorrow 😉
Hi Anthony...lovely comment...always great to hear from you and you give us a lot of motivation too! I did it with 8 kg dumbbells as that’s what I have...but I had a great workout! Yes...very sweaty at the end. Did you find, like me, that the format made the time fly by?
I’m just in the process of moving more of my university teaching on line...so making videos etc!! I don’t quite have the technical skill of Caroline in producing such polished format but the students don’t seem to mind! I think in NI there is now a rule that all university teaching should be online unless it absolutely can’t be...but in England it is being left to us to decide. That actually makes it much harder! @@matthewalmond4688 Matthew I would love to lie and say it flew by but the first half was a struggle 😫 but you get days like that so I focussed on the form and made it through. Yea I have to produce a lot of videos for my work luckily we have a videographer for the really tricky stuff but Im very fussy so we always produce really good edits. Thats why I love the quality of these. Actually PPT is an amazing tool for video production especially when animation is needed and you can embed your videos then save the whole project as one video. The old wrists and forearms are getting a wee working as well. Happy Monday Matthew , Im going to do some cardio by cleaning the house 🏠
Hi Anthony...yes a good bit of housework is always good cardio! It’s odd but while I feel totally relaxed in public speaking and teaching a live audience I still feel awkward in front of a video camera. I think the reason is that a live audience gives you instantaneous feedback in body language, facial expression etc so you can adjust things, but a video camera doesn’t. And I am not confident with technology.But I am perhaps slowly getting better! I have a couple of videos to make on Raman spectroscopy tomorrow! Enjoy the rest of your day...and see you for day 22! @@matthewalmond4688 I'm awful on video, prefer to be working the audience. I never do any videos in our place I always delegate. Us NI folk tend to talk very quick. I remember interviewing in London and everyone kept saying could you repeat that please🤣🤣🤣🤣. Meanwhile in the US the NI accent is really easily undertood when I was interviewing there they always said love the Scottish accent 😠 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Caroline is a natural and a great accent 😀
This one was a burner for sure. At times I also thought will I be able to finish but I just kept going. We definitely needed mental toughness for this one 😃

WOOT - loved this one, slayed me in the best way ever. I have skipped over day 20 as I have to be silent at some times when its early a.m. ... but I DO revisit EVERY one that I have to skip over at another time when I don’t have to be quiet. THANK YOU for being the kick starter to every day for me, Caroline. I’m better than ever in my 60’s and get tons of compliments... and I always share YOU when that happens. Blessings from Canada!

First time doing complexes. They were soooo hard. Used 20lbs. I didn’t put them down, but I did stop for most with about a minute left to the timer. So it was extra needed rest for me. Still worked tons and felt those lunges. Ufff… glad that was done. Will see how I progress with these in future workouts. Thanks Caroline for pushing us!

This was very challenging! I stopped for an extra minute in the middle to collect myself, but over all I think I did pretty well. One of the hardest days right next to burpee hit haha.
I finished this drenched in sweat! Probably the most I have sweated to a workout - ever. I did feel like this was a bit easier than the lunges one because I could do majority of these. Great workout!
Oh. My. Goodness. I was finally able to up my weight to 9 kgs (20 pounds) and it was so hard and so fun and I feel so great. Thanks you so much. Caroline, you are truly the best. Thank you for this gift!

This was by far the hardest workout I almost threw up & I hadn't eaten anything....INTENSE. thank you Caroline you are the best trainer.
Same! I had to take longer than a minute break! Halfway I was catching my breath and my weights are not even half of what she's carrying🤣
Extremely challenging workout, those darn complexes. I see why Caroline went much lighter. I initially started with my 30’s and quickly realized I couldn’t keep up with the pace at that weight so dropped to 25’s and still struggled. The downside for me was I like to go as heavy as possible, especially on leg day but my body wasn’t having that today. She said it would get your heart rate up and indeed it did. It felt sordove like a low impact hiit lol. Thanks for giving us a variety of workouts and always challenging us to push to the limit!
Finished this workout in the evening!!! Such a good burn for legs!!! Time really passed fast even though each set was for 3 mins. I enjoyed doing complex !!!! Before doing your workouts I wasn't even aware of such type of exercises!!! Because of you I am doing those workouts at home which were only possible to do at gym under trainer's instructions. You are too amazing trainer!!! Thank you so much for all these great and extraordinary workouts and also for very helpful and important instructions to perform them!!!! Oh man, this was a tough one. I won't lie, I took longer breaks than I was supposed to, but I'm glad I made it through the whole thing without throwing in the towel. I can't wait for shoulders tomorrow!
oh my, I really struggled to push myself through the first 30% of this workout ( using 9.5 kg dumbbells) and then I told myself that I can do it and so I did! to anyone reading this : you need to believe in yourself first! you're strong and resilient ! week 5 here we go!!!
This was the hardest workout by far for me. I was shaking like craaaaaazy!! But the feeling of satisfaction when i completed it was amazing.

Did this work out this morning. Yayyy. Day 2 of the 3rd week December workouts. I have to say I'm loving your workouts and looking forward to doing Day 3 tomorrow. I hate working out. But my dear Caroline I've been doing your workouts since the second of januari and I must say I loooooove it.... My arms are more toned I lost about 4 centimeters around my belly.. And after my 3 kids I started getting bigger and bigger.. I feel stronger and more confident.. And my babygirl(1) loves seeing you every morning 😁 when I put my workout on there's a big smile appearing on her face. Thank you for your time and effort!!!!!!

✅10/19 - Caroline, I’m so mad at you right now! Holly molly!! BRUTAL!!!! This is another *DCBG* !!! This is your most challenging workout for me ... physically, but more so mentally! Thank goodness I was smart enough to used 15lbs and not my 20s. The hardest complex was the unilateral/uneven leg segment. 💀
You weren’t kidding when you said there was cardio. 151 max HR, 126 avg HR. This stat is basically what I would get doing one of your HIIT workouts. 🔥
I’m so glad I ticked this off. I don’t know about the 20 minutes complex, Caroline. If you do post one, I’ll use my 5lbs DBs. 😂 I’ll love you again in an hour.
@@matthewalmond4688 Hi Matthew, this was TOUGH. Ouchie. Ouchie. Ouchie! The first time I was introduced to a complex was last Friday. But, three minute of straight work was a challenge!!! I went with a lighter weight and tried to match Caroline’s pace but she zoomed through her reps, especially during the pivot lunges. For me, this workout intensity is up there with her first 1-hour HIIT. My hamstrings are super tight since Friday; I’m glad it’ll be shoulders tomorrow.

Oooof this one was, I have to say was brutal. The complex made it so much more challenging, I have been used to doing supersets before but this one takes it to a whole other level. One of the first times I've wanted to pause a workout of yours.

Happy I managed to use 10kg DBs like Caroline! Reached 180 HR 💓 and burned over 400 calories🔥 Loved the clean to squats and added some extra heavy snatches at the end😁 Thank you Caroline for the ever challenging, varied and dynamic workouts! I'm not looking forward to the end of EPIC but I'm already planning to re-do the whole thing and keep increasing my weights! ^^

My ‘gym’ is in my unheated basement. For most of the summer, I had the fan running. Today is the first day the fan stayed off. Hopefully I can get through the next 5 weeks without having to bundle up in sweats. It gets really cold down there in the winter. I do have an alternate plan so that I won’t have to miss work when the snow flies.

My forearms were so tight after the clean to squat... and wow did those curtsy lunges feel *that* much harder after the close squat on toes! I challenged myself and was able to use 20lb dumbells thru the whole workout! Feels so good knowing I’m getting stronger all the time with you, Caroline!! I just want to encourage everyone to take before pictures, halfway through pictures, and after because getting on a scale is not going to show you the whole story. It's fun to see the transformation!

Seeing this comment makes me feel so much better. I've been doing Weight Watchers since January 6th, 2020 and lost 33 lbs in a year, exercising every single day (366 days). I have continued exercising everyday and found Caroline and started this program (I will be doing Day 21 tomorrow). Since January 4th, 2021, the scale has not budged and it's super discouraging since I would like to lose another 17 lbs. 😅
@@bonbonbreyanna You may have lost inches And maybe nothing has happened but you should continue on
