I'm 25 and right now I'm studying classical sing in order to become an ópera singer. I started ballet lessons at 7 but got injured at 18 so I was forced to abandon ballet, i've trained violín,like said before operatic singing, hata and ashtanga yoga(when you have the ballet background yoga it's an amazing choice to stay healthy) and also perfom aerial silk but nothing is harder than ballet or requires that much discipline.
Well do something about it. It is never too late to attend adult beginners classes if you can find a dance studio. I taught adult beginners for a year and they got a lot out of it, even just the experience of getting to dance something when they thought that they couldn't.
@bolshoiboy8 Yes you are right and let me add that also if we took a look to ballet history when ballet started to be popular in the Louis xlv court only the men can dance. Just like the castrati singers in the ópera cause women weren't allowed to sing...actually women weren't allowed to do any kind of public act besides a marriage.
My balletteacher has owned her studio in almost 25 years and there has been only one boy that danced there for a little while! Why do every boy around here think that it's gay to dance? It's not!

Great ballet master, talented students and formidable school of ballet...
Oui les tours en l'air sont vraiment magnifque! :D
In my opinion, it's at least 15 years ago, judging by the physiques of Mr Dupond and Vu An. I'd say late 1980s even...
I would love to be a ballet dancer, couldn´t because of the taboos regarding males in ballet, now I´m too old, BUT my son will do it with my support!
Excellent teacher. Talented boys!!
Excellent pianist...!!!
I would LOVE to have the DVD to the whole documentary. I wonder if it is available anywhere.
Ballet is just great!
i love how alex dances

Ballet is wonderful. I regret the fact that I didn't study ballet when I was younger because I'm naturally quite flexible. ='(

You are lucky. For many (Not all) students, it's very bad and abusive
