@@happiestaku6646 Lol America really stole this idea from these people and created Shark Tank
@@bre7931
Tbf… American Television steals most concepts/ideas from the Brits. The only difference is the humor factor. American humor is more risqué and sexual, while British humor is often called “dry”, but I’d like to think that it’s just intellectually driven. If you’re not paying attention, jokes can sometimes fly over your head, but all in all I prefer more Eastern Television than Western. Ik nobody asked, but even with the low budget, and less flashy colors-Eastern television has stronger plots, than most Western programs. Here in America, it’s just rly flashy, and the plots only hold for a season or two at minimum-three to four seasons at best. Eventually, the plot falls through, and you’re left unfulfilled bc the show gets canceled with a cliffhanger.
Examples of stolen ideas: The Office, Being Human, Law and Order, Shark Tank, which I’ve all seen both versions personally-But I’m sure there’s more.
@@WOLFGANG634 Never saw being human but I prefer the American version of The Office. Law and Order is alright but that show is older than I am at this point
@@bre7931 i’m fairly certain they had permission. also the idea originated in japan anyway.

i feel like thats how you knowyou have a really good business. if someone is just straight up trying to steal it?
He gave her a shit offer because the business is shit
No, he was basically mocking the business.
He had to wear her hopes down and pretend he's being merciful after to make her think she couldn't do better, she didn't even realize she was just giving away the company bc of how demeaning he was.

You don't get rich in business, by spending your own money.
@@lobitome that doesnt quite apply here
How does it NOT apply? It's literally the definition of that phrase.
Basically I thought he was trying to say just take 50,000 for the business you keep that then 90% of the Company is mine ?
Actually, there are plenty of business folk like him.
The people presenting their product were like: “you may have outsmarted me, but i outsmarted your outsmarting!”
Well, it depends, whether the 50K GBP is in the form of Capital infusion or as purchase consideration for the takeover of 90% of the business's net assets. There is a significant difference between the two offers.
People don't understand that this actually happens. Like when a bank is bought by another one. A lot of banks have more money in their reserve than their net worth. So other companies rack up big loans and buy the bank and then pay their huge debts with the previous banks reserve funds. Thats business 101.
Hahahahaha love how the guy is staring to the infinite like "whats the problem"

His face at the end... Can't hate him for trying 😂😂
When Marge got a bowling ball from Homer as a gift...
It's still £50k to them if they sell 90% of the equity of the business. If he runs it by himself successfully, then in essence they'd just be getting a 10% royalty cheque every month or quarter.
If he manages to turn it into a $100M brand, then they can sell their 10% at $10M or even better, leverage the equity into a tax free loan to purchase other assets that produce income.

Idk what this show is but calling these business people "dragons" like they're something special is extremely corny
It's an equivalent to "Shark Tank", but it's called "Dragon's Den". So the implication is more like you're trying to steal from a dragon's hoard, because they're old and rich.
Its a show, thats the point.
It's because they're dragon their balls across your face as they take your money.
They should be called parasites.
