📚 About The Microtech Stitch RAM LOK:
The Microtech Stitch Ram-Lok is Microtech's exciting new take on the beloved Stitch Automatic. It boasts Microtech's exclusive Bohler M390MK steel blade, offering improved edge retention over standard Bohler M390 steel. The knife employs the Ram-Lok, not too dissimilar from a crossbar lock, for tight blade lock-up, easy one-handed closing, and tremendous strength; to disengage the lock, simply pull away from the blade on the X-Buttons. The handle features lightweight scales over steel liners with a titanium backspacer. Take on any cutting task with the manual Stitch!

I have wanted a Stitch for a very long time now and when the ram lock stitch came out I was so happy and the first thing I noticed is the main screws for the pocket clip are the only ones sticking out!
All the rest of the screws are inset. Why is it that the most important screws that need to be inset are not???
I find this to be very frustrating when pocket knife companies pay the least attention to one of the most important parts of the knife is the pocket clip!!
The same company can make a perfect knife that has it all in and the very next knife has a fucked up clip!
I don't get it
Not to mention that this isn't a budget knife it's $300 plus and worse yet it's Microtech.
I will be waiting for it to be made correctly and hopefully they go back to Reate and maybe they can help?
That’s a very good point and thank you for sharing it. I guess an argument could be made from their end that it adds to the knife overall ruggedness and what not but still, I get what you mean 100%
Just got my fluted aluminum Stitch. Love its very deliberate and uncompromising blade shape. I really appreciate these great collaboration models, cause I doubt I’ll be able to buy a Borka custom anytime soon. Anyway, excellent vid and thanks for the knaf content, man! 👊
Thank you for the review! Have you tried sharpening the Stitch or the MSI? LTK has Rockwell Hardness tested and they failed. The steel is very soft for M390. Since then I’ve talked to a few people that have them and said sharpening the soft steel was not fun at all. Have you experienced these problems?
Hello my friend, thank you for the feedback. To be honest, no. I haven’t gotten to that point yet. The edge has been amazingly sharp out of the box and I don’t see myself needing to sharpen it any time in the near future. However, then the time does come, I will keep that in mind. Ok which do you like better: this Stitch or the RSKAOS?
Such a good question and tough question at the same time lol. I truly love them both and they’re both two of my top all time favorite knives of all time. I couldn’t tell you really because I just really love them both so much. I’d have to sit down and think it thoroughly if I really had to pick one because my life depended on it, but honestly they’re so evenly matched in my book, you really can’t go work with either one!

@@MiguelEDC I have both and I agree with you! Love them both! Have you heard that folks are saying the Microtech m390MK is soft, not heat treated properly?
I have the aluminum handle version and outside of my edge on my Inkosi, this is the sharpest knife out of the box I have ever seen!
