Agree Peter sometimes Charles is a little too emotional when things go wrong and it takes him a while to sort them out, but for me he is/ always will be a cut above Carlos.
True, Charles decided to one-stop against pit wall advice.
Charles absolutely wouldn't have been able to make the one stop call with previous teams. The fact that he made that call himself, feeling the tires and the car, tells me he's learning to push-back on possible bad strategy calls.
Carlos is genuinely pissed off and jaded, and He is channelling ALL of His energy and focus towards His racing. Its going to be really hard for Charles to out pace that. "A Man on a mission".
Sainz's maturity is on display now. He's under pressure for a new seat, and Charles under pressure getting an all-time great teammate. He may not be the "glamor" pick but he's performing like a real professional.👏
I totally agree with Peter on one thing. One thing I think is hurting the racing is a hand full of drivers are best friends. And they lack that killer instinct and I don’t understand that.
Thats the inner bastard He IS Missing and its Something that every world champion has to have. Look at Max and Riccardo best Friends until max felt He could win. Thats the Thing Most Fans hated about him at the start. Shutting Corners so that both Crash Out instead of him getting past even the ecreaming in the Radio. Take Vettel and Webber IT was basically the Same Vettel was an asshole on track Not because He IS a Bad Person but because He needed to Be to win those 4wdc's even to become Nr 1 in the Team. Same goes for Prost and Senna. Schumacher or Hamilton they all can/could Turn into reckless Idiots on track(This doesn't equal to Bad driving) but IT earned them Respect. Sennas rivals knew If WE Take a Turn together He will never pull Back so they pulled Back. I think every Driver has their own personality on track but you can also See WHO has the Potential who IS willing to give everything to become wdc. Alonso showed US again in Australia with His move against Russel you will Not der Charles do Things Like that dotn get me wrong He IS fast and one of the best on the grid but in my eyes Not wdc Potential.Either His Team fucks IT Up or He Cracks under the pressure over the Span of 24(25) races I Heard WE are getting south Korea too i don't See him win a wdc Battle against either Max,Alonso or Hamilton If they have the machinery to win (You could also say in equal machinery :D)
I do not know about that. Back in the day the drivers as a whole were very close.
@@daveblock4061there was definitely malice amongst the drivers before the social media/pc drivers came along…. Mark Webber even stated this too, that the drivers are not up to par with the 90s and early 2000s stars. Drivers nowadays are scared to race in the wet…
Sainz is more proficient with his weapon than Leclerc.
Both are samurai but Sainz understands how his sword was made and understands its balance and it weaknesses. Leclerc is a better fighter. But, not proficient with his weapon.
Usually, the one that is proficient with the weapon will win as he's a more rounded warrior.
Dream Leclerc will be in front
@@Persoc then he'd better understand the car and keep honing his skill.
The Front End is stable. That is the problem. If Ferrari change The Front End like 2022 car, Sainz will struggling again and all of you barking to Ferrari. Leclerc get 9 poles in 2022 because The Front End unstable. He is struggling in 2023 and 4 races in 2024 because The front end locked. Sainz like that way. Leclerc hate it. If Ferrari change that Front, problem solved. Because the problem is NOT Leclerc. But THE FRONT.
leclerc is mega when he is on point. mostly a bad pit or strategy, he just needs some luck to go with the talent. tbh he cant a break lol
I think Charles is out psyched by Calos at the moment. The same as Checo was by Max after about race 6 last year, when he realized he could not really compete for the world championship.
Not everyone can have the consistency of a Max Verstappen.
Love hearing “We are checking” from Ferrari.
Or Lewis
Whilst I respect Peter, I personally don't think Charles will end the year dominating Carlos. Carlos is on a high and he'll continue to rise even further.
No you dream standing leclerc will correct his qualification and will be in front and ferrari will follow their pilo
This same thing happened last year and Charles ended up doing better. It’s interesting to see people ignore history for feelings
Carlos always has a few good races the fades away. Charles will prove the doubters wrong. Again.
Whether he does or doesn’t & I’m pretty sure Charles will. Charles is a much better racer and probably the Only guy on the grid with the outright speed of Max- Can you honestly say that about Carlos - over the last few years. These cars are ultra sensitive and the slightest variations can leave you guessing and you what we’re talking about is extremely fine margins.
What is the problem with team bosses not wanting to admit they made the wrong decision? Bernie Ecclestone said a number of years ago we had already seen the best of Lecerc. I think he was right. This is as good as it gets.
This is why Ferrari brought Lewis in! Lol obviously he’s not there guy!
their*
Ferrari suddenly changed the car into a race car from a quali car and he's out there qualifying at 8th and what not. This quali god allegation is getting out of hand, they gave him a tire eating maniac of a car that can get peak performance in one lap this past 2 years, ofc he's gonna stick in the front row..
In that same period, Carlos couldnt stick it on pole in the same car? So he must be good at it
@@scroopynooperz9051 I've never once in my life rated Carlos as a top driver lol.
I am a Leclerc fan and I would have been very disappointed in the team if they told Sainz to stay behind him at that point.
Charles is driving desperate
you have to stop for 5 minutes with Sainz he had luck in Barhein Leclerc brake problem then Leclerc failed 2 qualifiers but to no avail he is already at the factory and will come back with the keys for the qualifier and Sainz will come back behind the race pace is best at leclerc
if sains drove better he would have made leclerc's bet i.e. 1 stop but he doesn't know how to manage that well so he didn't go looking for perez something leclerc would have done
It's the soft guy era CAM and, it's killing sport not just racing.
Cameron is such a poor undercover Leclerc hater😂
He is brilliant. But time to show and prove
@myronedwards9623
I don’t think he’s hater, What he’s saying about Charles, Peter expands on what he and others see.
The yips is no laughing matter, daddy-o. Many never get well. 4:00
💯 They're serious thing. Happens in baseball a lot right? 😭
@CameronF1. Golf. When a player, for reasons unknowable, all of a sudden can't make a 2 foot putt. Very scary.
Another unforced error by Leclerc in Japan
Maybe Charles is not as good as everyone assumed he was. Clearly Carlos is the better driver of the two...
LOL
Clearly what? 😂 Yea let's ignore 3 years of evidence and just pay attention to the last 4 races.
Yes, he is.
If you ignore the fact that Charles has softer inputs, better Junior and karting record, as well as the achievements of Charles since 2018, then yes he is.
@@quentinhirschfeld9382 yeah, these people looking at 3 races and trying to claim Carlos is better makes me chuckle. I think he deserves a drive next season for sure but that’s about it
Carlos is in top form this year but ive seen him have HORRIBLE races in the past way worse than charles not qualifying at his super top form
Charles is very good, but overrated. The whole Luis to Ferrari thing is crazy to me. He's not in his prime. Carlos is getting to his.
