- Here is my first grail watch. It is a 16710 Rolex GMT Master ii Pre-Ceramic with a Pepsi bezel. It exceeds my expectations and here’s why!
Pure class - couldn’t agree more Eli. Enjoy. Passion born of nostalgia. I picked up one in Tokyo for 12k last week. Like you I won’t be selling
Congrats!!! They are wonderful little pieces.
Cheers, my friend!
Great review. I agree with you completely that it's a really perfect classic. I've stopped buying watches as I only have one wrist. Enjoying various rolex and omega and even one gold patek. But today... Lol... I found one of these in really excellent condition and for a great price. Placed a deposit on it and will purchase it tomorrow. Your video makes me feel even more excited. Thank you.
Nice watch and a your summary of why 5-digit Rolex have that emotional appeal is spot on.
Thanks, Jason! Appreciate you taking the time to watch and your kind words. It’s a great piece.
Cheers!
i'm currently have both 16710 (for 12 years so far) and new 126710BLRO - and still pre-ceramic is the best one, light and toolish, and profile looks thinner.
Great taste. That’s where I’m at right now. Should I buy 16710 and call it a day or hopefully get a call on a new Pepsi with the jubilee. But your comment on Porsche is so accurate. I own a 93 Rs America, the emotion and driving experience is on a different level then a new 911. Granted the new 911 is a better car. But I don’t get the same emotion driving one of those compared to my Rs. Saw the Pittsburgh gp sticker on your lotus. I go every year. And I also own a 07 exige. You have great taste buddy.
Wow, VERY cool!!! 93 RS America is an incredible car. I was at the Grand Prix this year with my Boxster Spyder on Saturday and my Elise on Sunday. Hope to catch you there next year!
The new Pepsi is a beautiful watch too. I’d throw my hat in the ring for one if I had a bit bigger wrists. I like the less beefy case on the pre-ceramic. Both incredible pieces though! Can’t go wrong either way.
Appreciate the comment! Cheers!
Congratulations, beautiful piece.
Thank you!
Great video. I have one too and love it.
Very nice! You have great taste my friend.
Cheers!
Nice video. Great watch
Just seeing your comment! This is crazy- I just watched your video from when you picked up your 16710 yesterday! Small world.
Your example is absolutely stunning. The edges look so crisp! Thanks for the comment. I’m a big fan of your channel!
Cheers.
Great video! Just subscribed.
Thank you, Cole! I really appreciate it.
Cheers!
My uncle got me that same watch for my college graduation for about $1,900 in 1994
