Where did you do this where they just sold you a bracelet like that? I was told by local Rolex and RSC that they don’t sell parts separately for you to swap out, only replacing for an existing watch you have via their service dept.
Not a big fan of the jubilee but looks nice on the GMT. I found that installing a bracelet is easier if you do it in two pieces disconnecting the bracelet near or at the clasp. Its one extra step but I think you can see better what you're doing and less risk of scratching. Really nice pieces. You should do a vid of your whole ROLEX collection.
interested in where you acquired the jubilee bracelet and what was the cost. I also have a 16710 no holes GMT and thinking about trying the jubilee. thanks
I hear birds in the background. Thought it was my 2 finches. LOL. I love the Jubilee bracelet. Would like to put one on my Explorer. However, I understand Rolex will only sell you a bracelet like the one on your watch when you bought it. Bummer.
Edgar Sanchez The watch case on the older GMTs had holes that were there to hold the bracelet pin. If you wanted to pop the bracelet off then you would depress the pin through the holes in the case. For this reason the bracelet endlink did not have the small slit that allow you to depress the pins. On the solid case Rolex there are two small slits on the sides of the end links. So the jubilee bracelet was offered with 502T end links for the solid case and 502B that was for the case with holes and could only be used with the holes case because otherwise you would have no way of depressing the pins in order to remove the bracelet
good night friend, I hope and can help me with some questions that nowhere I have been able to solve I just bought model 16710 "pepsi" serie (W) with its box and papers but my question is how can I make sure that it is actually a "pepsi"? and not a gmt master who put that bezel I hope and have an email in which to contact you to attach photos
Send me a picture of the Rolex papers you got and if you have the green tag send me a picture of that too. My email is thewatchenthusiast1@gmail.com If the watch does not have USA papers the only way to know is the green tag that the watch came with originally . Usually that had the serial and the bezel type on it . If it is USA paperwork see where i saw the letter B on my paperwork right after the model number around the :25 second on this video .
I did not know how to explain so that you could understand me, I was looking for a gmt pepsi my question is: how to know if it was a gmt "coca" and they changed the bezel just for me to buy it and believe it is a pepsi I already sent photos to your friend email if I could check it maybe you went to another tray
Alberto Triana I understand you but it is not a straight answer. Your paperwork has the answer for you. I even said it on the video. After the model number 16710 there is a letter. 16710A is a Coke 16710B is a Pepsi and 16710N is the all black bezel. This is only if your watch is a US model. If not a USA model then there was a green plastic parallel tag that usually had a sticker on with the model number and the Serial number of the watch. That was normally not saved or even sometimes given to the buyer so in that case you can’t know. Rolex will not have a record of the original bezel insert because for the non US models did not record it on the paperwork. I hope you understand that it both not an easy answer nor it really matter at the end. You can go to any Rolex service center and they will sale you any of the three insert you want.
The Watch Enthusiast thanks for the answer and excuse so many questions but it's my first purchase and I struggled a little $ to get it and I don't want to have a bad experience So do you think that does not affect my watch in any way?
JJ take your 16710 to any Rolex service center or a Rolex AD that has an authorized Service in house and they will order you one. Of course now with Covid-19 everything is upside down but thats the way to go.
www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=648563 This guy has/ had some extra. That’s were I got mine but it’s not cheap. I personally wanted a genuine one that I can pop on my other watches too. if you don’t mind an after market one then you can get them cheap on eBay. r x Difficult for me to choose the top 3 but if I had to then the SkyDweller SS Blue dial 326934 , Submariner Hulk 116610LV and my GMT Master II 16710 Pepsi on Jubilee would be the ones that would edge out. But at the same time my sub Kermit 16610LV or my TT bluesy 116613 , sub 114060 or SD 43 126600 , or 116710BLNR or the Daytona 116500 and 116520 or SD 4K 116600 or my explorer II 216570 Polar or the Speedy Professional etc all have my interest and I enjoy them all.
The watch Enthusiast what if at basel they come out with the smaller lugs on the cases on the divers are you going to sell yours and get the new divers without the maxi case?
r x My wrist is 7 3/4 “. The maxi case looks ok on me. The 5 digit cases are sexier but they do look smaller on me. If at Baselworld they come out with a smaller lag case sub I wouldn’t automatically jump the gun and replace my current 6 digit ceramic subs. The new ones have to be really much better looking. For many with smaller wrists the 5 digit looked perfect on them while the 6 digit maxi case felt chunky/clunky on them. That is not how I feel about them myself.
Nice video, very competent. In your opinion, can you do the same with a 2019 Batman? I mean, I’m not a fan of the new jubilee bracelet they fit on the new Batman so if I buy one, would it be possible to “downgrade it” to an oyster bracelet?
Moshin Khalifa No problem. 16710N was the all black ( Noir black in French) and the Coke Black/red was 16710A. In the earlier years they didn’t even have these distinctions on the model even in the US so you could have any bezel insert you wanted and still be original production.
@@thewatchenthusiast5729 if you took the watch to Rolex would they change the bezel for you to a black one or a coke? Regardless, if it had A or B in the serial?
Moshin Khalifa I’m not sure about that. If I show the paperwork to Rolex i would think they would replace a worn out bezel with whatever the model says on the paperwork. However if I didn’t show them the original paperwork they would change to whatever I requested after keeping the one that is on the watch itself. Also I think they would do that upon a full service of the watch. In Europe I have heard they are much more loose on both replacing and even letting you just buy a different one and keeping your older bezel. It used to be like that here too but Rolex USA has gotten tougher to deal with. You could have bought an additional jubilee bracelet here too for your watch. Now you cannot. In Europe again you stand a better chance.
Hi I own the same watch and I loved how you can switch between the colors and bracelet, I was wondering Where did you buy the bracelet and the different bezels?
I bought mine in the grey market ( original Rolex parts only ) but if you take your watch to any Rolex service center they will sale and install the bracelet and / or any bezel inserts.
No. The 116710LN uses a ceramic bezel and the supply of them is controlled by Rolex 100%. Even if you take it to Rolex Service center they wouldn’t change it for you because they want to keep the exclusivity of each ceramic model.

I prefer the jubilee strap for Date just or Oyster perpetual and not necessarily with GMT and other submariners, but it's a taste issue.
May i know how can you get the original Jubilee bracelet for 16710? Would you mind to share the link? thx
