Nah highly doubt it’s tuned. It might have a few extra horses from the exhaust at best. Regardlessc Stock for stock if you look at magazines resting, the 5.0 trap 5mph. So the races played out exactly as expected, although the mustang should have been in lower gears when races in a few of the races.
should run him from a stop or lower mph roll! i feel like the m340 would hang in there a lot better from a stop to say, 100 mph or so

Something isn’t really adding up here.. either the M340i is down on power, or that 5.0 is tuned..
i thought the same.
My guy the mustang has almost 100 more hp a a lil more torque with a bigger stronger engine.. 340 gets the jump then the v8 gets going simple
@@1LE_Ciko No where near 100hp more. Bmw massively underrates the M340i (and most other models) it averages about 380whp stock while the 5.0 average is about 415whp stock. But the M340i makes more tq than the 5.0 bone stock, around 420wtq while the 5.0 around 400wtq.
@@Eddy-09 bmw says 382 hp and 369 Tq, then 382 and 369 it is don’t give me some random numbers unless u have a 2019+ 340i that u put on the dyno. Similar result happened with the supra which has the same engine plus that car prolly weighs less and has better aero.. I’ll tag u in the vid. From a stop the bmw will thrive but don’t tell me that from a roll the bigger stronger engine won’t do what the video showed

Guys, it's about gear rings. The 2015 to 17 GT had a 6 speed gearbox. Which had long gear ring and that was slow. Mustang has a no power lagg (NA) 5.0L Crossplane V8. 10 speed is the thing that it wanted and that's why m340i is losing. A 2015 to 17 stang will definately won't overtake it easily

Coyote V8 FTW!! I don’t know if you guys noticed or not, but the Mustang had performance tires and lighter rims on the back… probably why it passed it. BMW had stock rims and tires. Also I think the mustang had the new 10speed auto… it makes the car go 0-60 in 4seconds flat… so it’s no surprise it won.
Well, STOCK everything, M340i does 3.9 0-60 & it’s a 4-door sedan. Not a 2 door pony car. It’s also a 6 cylinder opposed to a V8. That stang, WOULD NOT want to see a V8 M6! 🔥🔥🔥
P.S 2-door Supra does 0-60 3.8-3.9. The M is a 4-door car. 🤣🤣🤣

More like ~50 hp difference. Everyone knows that BMW underrates power. Those 340i's are like 360-370 at the wheels, and with the AWD, low-end torque and ZF trans, it hit's hard @ any rpm. The top end of that Coyote though will of course reel it back in and pass it by.

You shouldn’t be losing, as even a mach1 struggles to win...get ya car checked out for any boost leaks cos your’s seems slower than other m340s...
Possibly the wheels and tires since its heavy. Also the bigger battery from the mild hybrid system. But I’ll definitely have them check it out just to be safe before i modify it! Cause my stock 2020 m340i did feel faster.
Also my top speed is 130mph instead of 157mph.

@@dewaynesummers8105 it depends on the tire package. Bmw put a limiter on some packages with run flats, while others have a much higher limit from factory.

No lmao, thats how fast the 5.0's are, that's why so many people hate them because it's a legit cheat code for racing, soon as there's a E85 tune file on it, nothing else, it keeps up with a lightly modded M3 G80 Competition.
