“In The Land of Beginning Again” … Again
There tends to be more surprises and stretching out when I’m playing out on a gig versus making a video at home, so here’s another gig video of a tune I posted previously. This is a nice mellow brunch hang in Flint at Queens’ Provisions. With many of the tunes I play, I don’t have a set arrangement that I always stick to. Here’s another instance of taking the core of the tune, some bits I have worked out, and using them to make decisions on the fly.
The guitar is a 1930 Gibson L5. Made in Kalamazoo, MI. a very special acoustic archtop
I recorded this with an Electro Voice V 2 ribbon mic into a UA Volt plugged into my phone.
