SUITS is easily one of the most rewatchable series on television. Im so glad that it has had a resurgence and others are getting to enjoy it for the first time.
What I mostly enjoy about it, even after having watched it more than 5 times is the fact that you just need to shit down your brain and follow the plot in order to enjoy it It's one of those shows that you don't need to think much, they'll tell you what you need to know, just follow along and enjoy the ride!
The pattern of this show is literally: 1. Lawyer works on case. 2. Lawyer does something illegal. 3. Lawyer freaks out over people discovering that he did something illegal. 4. People get closer to the truth. 5. Lawyer does something even more illegal to cover up his first illegal act. 6. Repeat steps 2 to 5 until lawyer wins the case. Yet they still call themselves the best attorneys in New York regardless of the fact that they seldom win a case without dipping into illegal activities.
@@bigchees3850 I'll grant you that yes, people in real life break the law, including lawyers. But the show acts like these are the best lawyers in New York City, despite the fact that they seldom win a case without doing something illegal. The people in this show are portrayed as clever and, at the end of the day, good. They do this by painting everybody around them as either sleezy, or classic Lawful Evil. You shoulda at least mentioned Gretchen once. She helped many of the characters male huge decisions.....and stopped Lewis from really ruining the firm in a couple different ways. But great summary overall!
as you go through the video, you realise how poor the storyline becomes, turning into nothing more than soap opera with ties by season 9, such a shame.

Like, can't they just recast Rachel and give us Suits: Seatle with Mike, Harvey, New Rachel, and Donna? Suits: LA is not gonna have the reception that the studio thinks it will.
I really enjoyed the first few seasons and liked the primary characters but the storylines began to feel tired and repetitive: some enemy comes for them, there's infighting about how to proceed, an increasingly unethical solution is taken, then the firm is saved and the savior is made named partner for one season. But I always wanted to know exactly how it ended and see the Harvey/Donna relationship. Thanks for the recap!
5 seasons and he never once decided to take the test to become legally certified to be a lawyer. Saul Goodman did it and he didn’t have a photographic memory or actual lawyers with experience to help him either

You'd understand if you were one. It's not about a law soap opera, which is NOT realistic about true corporate law. 🙄
The series motto: just because you committed a massive crime doesn’t mean you’re a criminal, it just means you need a better lawyer.
Because of that, the show became repetitive.
That's painfully realistic
I have no reason why but the way you said “and the two have sex” at 7:23 made me burst out laughing

it would have been amazing to have a sequel with harvey and mike being the leaders of their firm in SEeattle
