I had a giant still holding in early April last year on cam. Like the buck in your area he holds into late March or April every year. He’s one of the oldest bucks around and crazy to see a big buck still holding this time of year. I’m pretty sure I saw him 2 weekends ago with a large group of deer from the rd.
Yeah that sucks. We just got hammered with another 6in last night and this morning here in southeast WI. Wont be getting out much at all this weekend now.
Yeah this year sucks with all the snow we’ve been getting in March. Not sure where your located but we just got hit with 6in last night here in southern Wi and it’s still snowing, looks like snow until noon. 🙄
I was getting some bucks on my cams back in early March but not many holding by me still. Always a few that hold into late March or April but probably only 5-10% by me.
Yeah I’ve seen a few of his vids. I’m pretty sure he’s more on the western side of the state by the bluffs. I’m in south east Wi and it’s all swamp around here LOL.
@@wisconsinwhitetail9744 I gotcha! I got lucky this year and ran into a guy that walks the same area I do and he ended up giving me the other side I was looking for all season ! Love the videos man look forward to next season ! Hopefully I’ll get some videos going

I’ve found a few in water like that over the years. I’ve never found a hanger though. That would be crazy.
April 6 I still have a 8 pt with antlers. Northern WI. Same buck didn't loose them until middle of April last year.

That big one you found with the green base is definitely last years cast.
Yeah it just had really good color for sitting out a year but when I saw the green base I knew it was definitely sat a year.
