I agree with most of you here: best song on the album. My eyes lit up when I heard the scat! This album released at the perfect time to help me overcome some personal battles. Forever a Korn fan.
Same thing. Got these demons trying to chemicaly kill me...perfect timing....all korn albums help....but the one I always fall back too is korn 3.....know who you are....love
I'm on a good path tho.
I recently posted my track "Disorder" in style of Nu Metal like Korn band sound in the 90s. Please rate:

Yeah by far my favorite
@@BL0CKchainGANG you got this brother 💪
This is classic Korn right here. Best song on the album.
By far...the best Song on the Album.
some of good god, some of issues, some of tlitm, plus the big ass new bass from the nothing
The vocal scat in the end was a huge surprise. I suddenly felt 14 again. I haven't heard Jonathan scat like that since the controversial Path Of Totality (which I unapologetically love).
@@hectorcollazo8845 Rotting in Vain?
@@DarkKent234 Oh right thanks Lol. It's been ages and with so many KoRn albums, it's easy to forget
This song will become a classic in the future. Mark my words.
Of course. The past is always straying further away from us.
it's beautfull.
What future?
This and Lost in the Grandeur
Bet
Kinda has a Follow the Leader feel to it. I love it. KoЯn has always had their own unique sound that many have tried to duplicate but none could match that distinct KoЯn sound
@Joseph Knowles РоссиЯ
This album sounds like they just got a bunch of b sides from every album and put them together for a quick money grab before they retire
@Joseph Knowles no I agree it's not their best stuff. There's a song called I can't feel that's a bonus track on the Japan release. It's probably one of the better songs. You should definitely check it out
The Bridge remember me on Freak on the leash
Listen to Chaoseum. It sounds almost 1:1 ;-)
Not a single bad track on this album.
Got a copy... My brother was a big fan... Lost him against covid...
🤘🏽🕊🤘🏽🖤

He's headbanging in hell. RIP your brother man...
@@levyata8964 in Hell lmao, just assume he wasn't a great guy
I'm really sorry Bro.May his soul rest in peace.
The acoustic guitar leading the scat into the final chorus is unreal
What is scat?
@@victorm8236 2:13
@@victorm8236 Wiki: scat singing is vocal improvisation with wordless vocables, nonsense syllables or without words at all. In scat singing, the singer improvises melodies and rhythms using the voice as an instrument rather than a speaking medium.
It's so fucking awesome I can almost remember Opeth. I fucking love Korn so much, oh my god, what would I do with my life without Korn?
@@victorm8236 The scat is the "Somedingadingadngadingadengaofthem" that Johnatan Davis violently bashes at the final part of the song.
Easily the grooviest scat breakdown in the entire discography imo, can't get enough of it!
This made me cry. I am absolutely in love with the band. Saw them in 99 as my first show ever. I was 3. Tell me another band that has held attention with innovative musicality whilst keeping their roots. You can't. I love you guys
Dude, your parents or whoever who took you to a Korn concert of all things, are amazing. Props to them.😎👍
@@lunartears6761 my uncle haha. It was his favorite band. Now it's mine.
When you said 3 it reminds me of my personal memory which my dad used to listen to Pigs from Pink Floyd and i was standing beside him in front of sound system and i was amazed and laughed by pigs sound in the start of music and he rewind the tape so and repeat it for me when i was 4.
Incredible live performers!!
Dance Gavin Dance. There, I did it
Look out, tell me this is nothing
Something's playing tricks and it's chipping away
I kept swirling is the trouble
Disguised in the paces, they're blocking my way
Calling me
I feel it coursing through the inside
And I can't get away, away inside
I feel it breathing and I realize
The worst is on its way
It is always something
Life keeps throwing things that don't go my way
I'm damned, awful thoughts devour me
All familiar places I can't escape
Calling me
I feel it coursing through the inside
And I can't get away, away inside
I feel it breathing and I realize
The worst is on its way
It makes me sick
But I deal with it
Set it all aside
My confidence overrides

Everyone saying that this track has Follow The Leader vibes hit the nail on the head (pun intended). I can't be the only one who also thought that the ending was similar to the one in Blind though... wow! Korn never misses. Looking forward to seeing them live for the third time next month!
Yes it does sound like blind at the end holy crap
Keep an eye out for the smaller limited capacity venues and jump on it. They play a ton of their classics and it’s a smack right back into the 90s again
@@williammorgan5987 yeah when I saw them in 2016 at download they pretty much played all classics, they didn't play anything later than see you on the other side, the band know what people wanna see, however may be different at the moment with them promoting this albim
Was waiting for them to recapture Follow the Leader for years and they did it here in a completely new way.
@@williammorgan5987 I'm so sick of freak on a leash and falling away from me.
Seriously -- this is one of the best songs this amazing band has ever produced. Everything works so perfectly well together -- the strong, despairing sound of the riffs; the powerful lyrics, filled with the angst of a future inescapable doom; the melodic yet very dramatic chorus; the unforgettable scatting; and that wonderful, melancholic ending, with Fieldy's bass disappearing into the darkness. All these elements, together, made me remember once again why I love Korn, why it is one of the bands that has captured the best the epicness and tragedy of sadness and sorrow, why it has been for me for over twenty years now a solace in many moments of confusion and depression. All I can say is this: thank you, guys. Thank you for every tear and joy you’ve given me. Love you forever!
This comment is great and explains why this song is so good. I definitely agree!
@@user-kx1vx3hi8z Thanks man. It just came from the heart ;).
Korn is a shadow of their former selves... Haven't produced ANYTHING masterful since 2003. This song is just like every other Korn song since then, it's ok.
@@Shoninator far from true. Every album has had amazing work. I mean my favorite korn song ever was on untitled. But there last 3 albums have been top notch. Expecialy the nothing
@@odledet Yeah, I agree with you, Josh. Korn's sound is now different, of course - I don't think we will ever get another Self-Titled or Life is Peachy. But their music has matured in very interesting ways - there is a new density in the interplaying of the guitars and in the layering of voices that I find very appealing. Add in this case the emotion of the lyrics and the scatting and you get a masterpiece! Let's just be glad that after nearly 30 years they are still exploring new creative grounds rather than repeating themselves to death!
This song is incredible.. sounds like a beautiful blend of the Follow the Leader album and their more recent records 🤘
wow very follow the leader vibes. kinda makes me wanna smoke a fatty and just lay back an let the stress melt away while enjoying yet another epic album from Korn.
The scatting at the end tho. Phenomenal classic korn vibes
And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. -Jeremiah 29:13
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. -John 3:16
Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out.
-Acts 3:19
the ending..,yes old good days are back
Hearing JD scat again after all this time feels like a light in the dark, a visit with normalcy. Something you didn't know you need until you have.
By far the best song on the album. It's a mixture of follow the leader and untouchables with a hint of issues modernized its perfect
You fuckin nailed it bro! It’s more so issues and untouchable’s and a hint of follow the leader!
Now this is a glimpse of what hard core Korn fans have been waiting on FOREVER 🤘🤘
Shamdigamadigamadigamoo Shamdigamadigamadigamoo classic korn baby!
This is the most rooted album they've possibly ever made. I hear a lot of life is peachy, tones of issues, even untouchables in this album, but now in 2022 by a band that's played together for 30+ years. I love that it doesn't sound perfect because it doesn't have to be; it's korn.
If this is really the end for fieldy, I have to say thank you, bro. The music you have made throughout your career has greatly influenced and enhanced my life for the past almost 28 freaking years, dude. Thank You, Reggie.
The lyricism reminds me heavily of issues and gave me issues vibes but the effects and riff reminds me of untouchables. This is the perfect Korn song I’ve been waiting for personally
Yeaaaahhhh!!!!! 🙌
2:14
SOME NIGGA TO A WIGGUMMMM DA WIGGUMMMM
DA HUUUUU...
I can't explain what my ears just heard. It sent me to another dimension. I'll be putting this on repeat
This is one of my favorites on the album. It has everything I love about KoRn and the lyrics perfectly relatable. I love how they are constantly evolving but never stray from what makes them KoRn. This has been one of my favorite bands since 94 and I am grateful they are still making new music that lifts my heart and soul and helps me get through this hell called life.
Even their attempt at mixing with drum bass was awesome.
Hello Dying Star
FINALLY
There's still my beloved:
Something on the-dum na ema
something on the-dum na ema
something of the-dum na ema
Korn is the damn angriest band ever
They’ve been around for 28 years and their music has never ran out of anger ,darkness and terrifying agony
All out war, arkangel, ringworm... give them a listen
Cannibal corpse enters the chat
خير من الراي نتاع بلادنا
What i really love about this album is how it's some kind of progression. It starts really melodic, and it ends with this song, wich is heavy af!
2:34 that is beautiful guitar playing
"Worst Is On Its Way" & "Start The Healing" are the Best tracks on the album, This album kicks really hard and probably the best album of KoЯn.
I was 16 when I started listening to korn I’m 41 now. This album made me feel so young again. Thank you korn. Rip monky.we all miss you
You must not be a very big Korn fan. His name is Munky, not monkey, and he didn't die? Who are you talking about?
@@TheBridgesYouBurn my best friend who passed. Thanks for being rude tho.
@@Shapeshifterxx I wasn't being rude. It's not like I think I'm better than someone because I know more about Korn than they do. There's nothing wrong with making mistakes, I used to misspell Fieldy's name.
@@TheBridgesYouBurn no problem my friend was named monky we watch korn from the start he was murdered during follow the leader; we were 18 I’m 41 now . Seeing korn during life is peachy and deftones with around the fur was a good summer. Hell we saw pantera . I miss him. But I know I’ll see him again. Stay safe out there man. No offense taken
@@Shapeshifterxx I made a wrong assumption because people are always mistakenly spelling Munkys name Monkey and I see that all the time so that's my bad...I saw Pantera live as well at Ozzfest it was so awesome! I've seen Korn live too but only one time during The Nothing tour!
Sounds like a Follow the Leader/Untouchables hybrid. Best song they've wrote in years
I agree but I feel like Issues and untouchable’s is more accurate! 👍🏼
Korn is one of those bands where not a single second of playtime throughout their entire anthology is wasted, not even the silence or transitions between songs. This album was yet another door kicker.
They have a ton of forgettable songs.
@@smokejc I don't recall asking the wannabe musician.
Its good that you enjoy all of their songs but Korn is a band thats known for having controversial albums/songs so the majority would have to disagree with you. In the end its all personal taste.
@@mikechartofilis Show me a source.
@@mikechartofilis Scratch that, you don't have any room to talk about anything controversial when you watch H3H3 and Idubbbz.

This sounds just like Justin on FOAL album ❤❤❤ one of my favs
The best and the only song on this album worth to be played
This is the song on repeat all morning! Breakdown is straight 🔥 and has mosh pit written all over it. Please make this a single and add to the live set list 🤘🏻
Yes, pleaaase make this a single!
Wait, someone said there was scat in this song. Someone tell me where it is?

This sounds like older Korn, kinda like it!
A little bit of "TWIST" scat babble, KoRn has been with me for a long fucking time. Thanks for the throwback to "Life is Peachy."
2:14 OMG IT'S KORN!
This song is so amazing!!! omg. It's the best on the album by far.
I have listened all 14 albums non-stop today. it means somethings.
2:14 okay, i'm in heaven. again 🔥
Jonathan Davis scatting again
Hell yeah 🤘🏻🔥
I will never get tired of John Davis's scatting
This song would have been so much more popular as the lead single. MILES better than sth.
I guess if they made it the single people would have thought the rest of album was a let down as this is the only half decent track imo
Pure banger. LETS GOOOOOOOOOOO
This song has the “Korn- Camel Song” (Cut song) riff held low in the back of the song. I think that’s why it sounds like it’s from Follow the leader.
My favorite song off the album ❤
Same here.
Old school Korn right there! Rockin Korn Since 94
This is that Queen of the Damn korn
@@N.N.3.2.1. x3
YES listening to the album today, and super glad yous made this a single. Super rad song, and I love the visuals.
Needed this so badly! Thank you, what a relief.
What are Korn fans like? Well, 65 yo gal from the deep south, sitting in kitchen of house that's been in the family since b4 I was born. Have the little guy with Issues hanging from the ceiling fan pull. Loved them live in Chi in the 90's. Caught Jonathan on show called Oddities. He had an interest in vintage mortician's tools. They hooked him up. Um, nu metal ?? wtf Who makes this shit up?
Listening to this just seems to have lifted some kind of weight I didn't even know I needed to get rid of. Ahhh, nice
Such a good band. Love Korn so much
They tried so many methods to tap into their old sound over the last 15 years, but this time around they nailed it and still manage to sound fresh. Incredible song.
THAT BREAKDOWN HAD ME GOING! WOW! I love this track.
The lyrics in this album are more advanced. Some people find the album boring, but I can tell by the use of words he chose in the songs that more thought and meaning was put into it.
This song brings back all the nostalgia from the follow the leader days. Awsome
Love that scat! Man, JD is a genius 👏
That was superb. Biggest smile on my face hearing this
Can't believe they left the best song for last. Just got the album.... wasn't impressed.....till track 9!!!! Wow!!!! Overwhelmed
My Favorite Song from Requiem! KORN FOREVER
Amazing song. So Simple and powerful in every way
Best track off the album imo
Best album ever! Great awakening has hit Korn!!!!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
This is old school Korn, love it. Got some TALITM vibes
What a touching chorus , what a lyrics, what a song! I felt all of my complicated emotions on this song. Love, depression, hopelessness, hate and feeling that just wanna scream to get away from everything. The best song on the album !
Yessss!!!! Goosebumps 🥴 That's when you know it's good. 🖤🤘
Jonathan gibberish in a song. Got to love this.
I just liked Korn before I heard this song. This one made me fall in love with them
the entire album is absolute phenomenal
I absolutely agree 🤘
Man....now this is on point. Best so far.....has that Issues combined with take a look in the mirror vibe
This song is the greatest out of the entire album. When the bridge part came up and the gibberish started, I was out of my seat rock and rolling. I’m glad I was born a KORN fan. I enjoy being the freak.
Finally!!!! A sound that's just a more mature Korn and not a total change. Digging it
Indeed, this new album 'REQUIEM' sounds brilliant and a lot havier. KoRn is always making new music and sourpising me all the time.
Congrats for the new album guys is a 100/10 😉

This album from start to finish is fucking amazing! Well Fuckin done! Love ya’ll !! Never disappoints! Long live Korn!!! 🤘🏼
This song could have come from Follow the leader. First time I can say that about any song
Yes. I’ve been waiting for them to tap back into that sound for years.
So sick KORN Ty for giving the world masterpieces of music (REAL music!)

This EP is their best release in years. Maybe their best since Issues imo. I love it!
I would say best since 2002, but yes. Many feel this way.
@@Jubidar That may be more accurate.
It's pretty good but this ain't an EP despite the track listing being shorter. The idea of less tracks works well cause nothing here feels at all like filler :)

Let's go!!!! That's pure KoRn!
Jonathan Davis laying down the scat vocals like nobody’s business. AMAZING!
they finished this album fucking strong, got that fieldly esq close and the scat and the hopeful pessissme we all relate to and love.
