Honestly, besides the oculus straps and the facial cover, the quest 2 is amazing, like just... amazing, and the 3rd party companies just create more of a customizable headset for whomever likes having option of what to get as of a strap
Oculus has my address but refuses to ship it without a valid phone number. I don't have a valid phone number. It makes me wonder if this is some kind of phishing bait for pulling in additional user data.
@@VRKommando Perfect I was just going to ask this. I couldn’t find it anywhere. Hopefully it will be a great product. On another note what case do you use for the BoboVR head strap?
@@TPLS2 Watch my M2 tweaks video, at the end of that video i talk about my case solutions, sadly they might be again hard to get or too expensive. However Bobovr is working on their own case solutions just for the M2 so might be good to wait for that
They started cancelling the shipments for people, happened to me as well, where it wants you to verify your phone number and what not, very stupid, I can't even login to do that.
When did you first hear about it, it seems like Australia was the fist to get the new padding offers. Sounds like that was their temp solution till they figured out they can just send people cheap silicon covers :|
@@VRKommando I think it was like a year or so ago now. You could submit a support ticket complaining about the scratchy default facepad and they would send you the vr cover facial interface pad for free. Economy shipping, so it took like a month to show up, but I got one.

Crazy that they still haven't fixed the elite strap issues.

It isnt, and its a verification thing. They need to know your a real peraon. Dont take it personally
It says a problem has occurred.
I cant get one, I will have to pay:(
Rip :( maybe contact them directly see if they can fix it
The foam one feels unhygienic it absorbs all u sweat
also dust and hair gets on it easily
I had a problem once with the face pad, but I discovered that using moisturizer fixed the problem after I used it.
I'm glad there doing this cause my face broke out but I thought the padding didnt feel right anyways.
How do you get to the website I can find it and no one is leaving links to it
huh it came with my headset
My stock face foam snapped. Lol.
