adding the spacer worked for me. I do have focus issues and having it just that little bit extra away help a lot. I can finally read text without super having to focus haha. Thank you so much I would of never thought to try that.
These are great tips, but it would be better if oculus (now meta) design a headset where we don't have to look right in the middle of the lens to see clearly. Naturally we turn our eyes to look left or right, but with the quest you need to turn your head to look on both sides properly
Agreed! This is where eye tracking technology comes. For example, Varjo uses eye tracking to do automatic IPD adjustment and foveated rendering. Meta has already said they'll include eye tracking in Project Cambria so let's see how that goes! Though this feature will make the headset is more expensive.

My solution was to buy a vive pro 2 💀 holy crap I didn’t know the smallest IPD difference helped, my IPD is 60mm so I used the in between settings, still wasn’t perfect
My Quest 2 is blurry but ONLY when I look at something close to my face. If I focus at something far away it becomes crystal clear, but then I have double vision of it :I

I am new to VR but I noticed that depending on the game/app I launch the ipd setting is completely different (setting going from 1 to 3). Also seems to depend on my eye fatigue at that moment. Am I doing something wrong ?
No, it’s just that the Quest 2 only has 3 IPD settings when there’s an infinite number of IPD distances for people so it’ll be blurry to a certain extent for most. I made a follow up video to this linked in the description and I believe pinned comment with more tips.
Meta should pay for lens why should people buy lens lenses it’s there problem why sell a product that could damage people’s eyes I get eye strain headaches,after about half hour my forehead feels like it’s been in a vice I think we should be aloud to send them back because they are not fit for purpose for the price it’s a poor design and would recommend it

Fantastic tips. I bought VR wave lenses with anti glare coating to protect my headset lenses way back when. I do not regret. It was close to 50usd
Thank you! Whenever I use VR without lenses, its just not the same.
Some people find it hard to focus on picture when too close so spacer does help even if you dont wear glasses from a further distance away from lens.

My ipd is 75 😢 the quest 2 is mad blurry for me ima use the quest 1
Hopefully they resolve this with the Quest 3
I have a weird smudge effect with my quest 2 specially noticeable around typos. Cleaning with fiber clothes is not changing anything
