This is super cool!! For what I’d use an electric bike for that is plenty of range. I absolutely love that the battery is swappable, and that it has a clutch, even if it is digital. Can’t wait for the day I can afford one!
The bike looks fantastic and quite exciting to see! As someone who was working with Zero Motorcycles 15 years ago, although they never did deliver a viable dirtbike, this is the dream that many of us shared. Andiamo!
Nice! Those were the good Zero days, before Wall Street took over. Dirtbikes will be the first full size motorcycle category to go electric in serious numbers
I average 40kmh in sandy desert enduro singletrack. The Stark Varg appears to run out of battery in only 33km (20mi) in those conditions. Have you looked at testing in sandy desert conditions?
It's definitely not hard enduro, but it's something a lot of riders do with these bikes and a reference point. We are being completely transparent counting only real riding time and showing you the tipe of terrain this was done on. Extreme enduro is a bit sketchy right now, we can't afford to throw prototypes down big hills, so we're taking it gradually. We'll post other tests in the future, including extreme, and you can count on it being done honestly.
Because they’re literally spending millions on advertising. We’re early stage and don’t have the funding for bigger moves yet, but we’ll get there. Currently all visibility is purely organic and we appreciate if you share 🤝
@@FluxMotorcyclesthanks for the reply. send me one I’ll test the hell out of it for you here in Hawaii doing hard enduro. I’d like to see how that digital clutch works.
I am glad you think the world of me. Yes plenty of cool stuff over there. I was in Romania last summer. Looking forward to seeing how your product comes along. @@FluxMotorcycles
@@FluxMotorcycles when your in the send bikes around the world phase can I have one here in Australia to demo the hell out of? oh i mean promote the hell out of 🙂
It's way more than any other EV company's done so far. The % are based on charge (energy content) in the cells, so the totals aren't much off mark. Ofc you might say we can cheat, but then we can cheat the whole test. If you don't want to take the total, you can at least take home how far 43% got us on this ride.
@@FluxMotorcycles It's definitely a good start, absolutely. Definitely a step in a more open direction rather than promises of figures that evaporate under testing! I'd still like to see a full range test rather than extrapolated range figures at some point though. Thanks for the reply :-)
Mountain biker here, looking to get into the electric dirt bikes. Since the left-hand lever has a digital clutch, would it still be possible to swap left and right levers, in order to have the front brake on the left hand, such as in my MTB?
Definitely too heavy to have in your backpack! Is the 180km all "off-grid" or do you stop midway for lunch or drinks? Charging in that break could be a solution, if available.

Very nice bike! I need this 😊
Please give this bike to @megs Braaap and @PNW Enduro for a test

We don't have those here, we will eventually. An educated guess would be the Primo doing 10% more in those conditions.
cmon, that terrain was not enduro, you could do that with a city bike, show us something impresive

Why is this bike getting so little attention? I see the Stark everywhere.

@@ChrisKAloha we aren't in the "send the bikes around the world" phase, we'll get there in 2025. Until then, Europe has plenty of Enduro to test on :)

Thanks for the test, would be interesting do at the same time the test with an stark varg and surron ultra bee.
Yes, but it's up to them to be transparent with their products 😏
This is not how battery usage calculations work... Charge it full, then run it to 0%, anything else is disingenuous.

Is there any way I can win one 😂
Great results though 👏 👌
Sure, you buy a 13.000€ ticket and you’re in great shape to win 😇

Я правильно понимаю, этот мот в одном экземпляре пока, да?
Yes, the Primo is our proof of concept. We're working on getting to the next step, which is the production bike.
What does it weigh?
In current form it's 122kg, with lights and heavy duty air tubes.
Supermoto version? And is there a clutch?
we have a virtual clutch in operation, for the production bike an MX, Enduro and Supermoto version are planned
@@FluxMotorcycles is the virtual clutch feature able to be turned off? And what would the target msrp be for the supermoto version when it comes out?
@@Ace01010 Yes you can, you can also choose to use it as a regen brake.
The target MSRP on the SuMo would be €14.000 (road legal)

in theory yes. In practice you're better off swapping the brakes on the bike and getting used to right hand front, to be honest
Seems reasonable
i like the part of being electric, our route sunday morging is 180 kilometer need one battery extra, problem is cant take it whit me

What horsepower setting was this test at please?
Hey, it's at max power, but honestly that doesn't really matter for trail riding, as you're rarely pinning it. What matters most is average power.
@@FluxMotorcycleswhat is the Lowest Power this bike can deliver ?
@@harambe684 essentially 1hp. We don't have an app running yet, so it's whatever number we type into the programmer.
