  • 51-year-old Funk takes you through a brutal home bodyweight HIIT workout called the Metabolic Tornado Circuit. This workout using the metabolic training protocol to help you burn fat and calories while getting fit using no equipment but your body weight.

    Welcome to the Metabolic Tornado Workout
    This is a 4-round metabolic (HIIT) workout Each Round you will perform 5 exercises one after the other for the prescribed work-rest ratio.
    Round 1 - Perform each exercise for 30 seconds of work followed by 30 seconds rest
    Round 2 - Perform each exercise for 40 seconds of work followed by 20 seconds rest
    Round 3 - Perform each exercise for 45 seconds of work followed by 15 seconds rest
    Round 4 - Perform each exercise for 50 seconds of work followed by 10 seconds rest.
    Exercises
    1. High Plank Walk Push Ups
    2. Switch Step Jumping lunges (4) - to Wrestler Lunges (4)
    3. High Knee Sprints (10) to Jumping Jacks (4)
    4. Abs Slow Bicycles
    5. Plank Build Burpees

    Funk, I'm 50 years old and I follow your vids three times a week. Prior to the quarantine I had almost eliminated weight lifting and had started strictly body weight exercises and running, I immediately saw results on my own but really improved after following your HIIT vids. Represent for us 50 year olds!

    Funk these work outs are amazing! I try not to miss a beat! If I am not doing the exercise right the 1st time, I will restart that particular work excerise again. Especially during these challenging times your videos are needed! You are making these routines the "new normal." Keep up the good work that you do.
    I also love that you are have a prompted 60 sec rest time after each round displayed on the screen. That helps me alot!

    Holy crap. I started my fitness journey about 3 months ago, which consists mostly of running and HIIT. I lost close to 30 pounds from it and dieting, but wanted to kick it up a notch. This workout will keep you humble. Thanks Funk! Kicked my rear. Loved it!

    Since covid my boy and my cousin have been doing daily 30 minute workouts on youtube with various trainers. The tornado wrecked us. Love this mans energy and creative workouts.

    I have lost 15 kg in just 2 months because of your workout sessions.. thanks a lot. I was a big lazy ass and now I do HIIT in the morning, cycling in the evening and a fine brisk walk of 6km to 8 km at night.

    Thank you Robert....i performed the wkout with a 3 kgms vest, i weight 48kgs. Next ill do it with a 5 kgsms vest. Then 5 rounds with 3 kgms and 5 rounds with 5 kgms vest. So i will be doing 4 cardio hit routines.🙌👊
