I have strongly mixed feelings about these two on Weekend Update. On one hand, they're very talented comedians, and they deserve whatever level of success they want to achieve. But on the other hand, I selfishly hope they never get any more successful than they currently are so they'll be forced to do Weekend Update forever and I can continue watching them.

The Guiliani verdict is even funnier when you know his lawyer told the jury a large financial penalty would be a "death penalty" for him. Their response was, basically, "yeah... die."
That is a kind of interesting defense: "Yeah, I am guilty, but I want to keep my money."

Giuliani was asked to spell "Accountability" but failed 148 million times
A democrat mother and daughter duo sued republican Rudy Giuliani in Georgia, alleging that he had defamed them in connection with the Fulton County vote. The grand total is $148,169,000. These verdicts aren’t meant to punish someone; they are meant to destroy him.
Giuliani’s case was never actually tried before a jury. No jury saw the videos of the democrat plaintiffs or even heard their or Giuliani’s testimony before, during, or after a full trial.
Instead, democrat Judge Beryl Howell, a brain dead, evil, Obama appointee, sanctioned Giuliani for failing to produce documents…and she used the harshest sanction available to a judge, which is an automatic verdict against the party who failed in his or her discovery obligations.
But here’s something even worse. It turns out that Giuliani couldn’t comply with significant parts (or all?) of the discovery request because the material demanded wasn’t in his care, custody, or control (those are legal terms of art). And why wasn’t it in his care, custody, or control? Because the democrat FBI confiscated much of it.
The fact that Giuliani never had his case actually tried also means that all the recent headlines about Giuliani refusing to testify in his trial are misleading. They imply that Giuliani refused to testify in his own defense on the substantive charges. In fact, he was already barred from doing so. All that he could do would be to sit in court and listen to the democrat plaintiffs explain why they were entitled to almost $150,000,000 in damages.

I wouldn't. The term limit is there for a reason, and extending it is a VERY slippery slope. You want that limit to still be there when someone like Trump tries to get himself elected for a third term.

@@antonliakhovitch8306 Yes lol. Recall the one president (ironically can't remember their name atm) who served 4 terms. He was not liked for what he did for all but the closing of his term, which happened to boost his approval and let him get elected if I recall correctly.
And with "most" you mean Trump? Because there is absolutely no evidence that Biden has ordered anybody in the department of justice to go after Trump. They are just following the evidence and Trump is guilty as fuck. Not charging him would just tell everybody in the US that as US president you are immune for any crime including the ones you have committed before you got into office and after leaving.

Weekend update is the ALWAYS GREAT SEGMENT !!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE that there were NO political sketches in the rest of the show. NO ONE CARES and we are BORED with even joking about politics. This week it was kept right where it should be ... BRIEFLY in the Weekend Update news segments !!!!!!! I hate when you all start the Cold Open with politics. So refreshing to see it minimized this week !!!!!!! Felt good to see comedy. Politics and presidents is LESS THAN .005% of my life. I COULD NOT CARE LESS. So this week was GREAT !!!!! THANK YOU !!!!!!!!
Nope. Just SIMPLY sick of it. SNL has been my favorite show for the 50 years I have been alive. They have been so over focused and over saturated with political humor and it is honestly just exhausting week after week after week after week after week. Nice to see them focus on things that are actually funny. NEW & FRESH IDEAS !!!!! Don't get me wrong ... I like the political humor SOMETIMES. However it has been completely over saturated on this show for the last few years. I see ENOUGH political BS in news and youtube and facebook and insta and EVERYWHERE ELSE. Don't need it ALWAYS being the Cold Open and several skits in addition. American politics have turned into NOTHING but high school behavior. I feel like SNL can achieve hilarious comedy without bringing politics up CONSTANTLY. WHO TF NEEDS politics in every aspect of their lives??? The penalty amount of $148 million for Giuliani is such a high, specific number because defendants always appeal and try to get the amount lowered. He probably won't get stuck with the full amount, but he will probably not be able to pay the final penalty regardless.
Of all the things I wouldn't have expected Colin Jost to do (yet possibly get away with), doing an impression of Urkel would be pretty much be at the top.
