It's better when they do just news without those skits with other members. I do not watch those skits anyways.

But that was it? 6 minutes? WU should be twice as long. It's the only funny thing on SNL now. It used to be life threatening to be eating or drinking during the entire show.
I guess it was too short to split? I was confused, thinking on Monday this was still just a clip. So I waited, then forgot, and am just now watching it. Man....maybe I'm in the minority, but I like the side interviews?

This Weekend Update was so 🔥 I had to rewind and play it twice!
At first, I thought they cut one of the segments of Weekend Update, but the fact that they made it all one video is great
love the space laser zapping away MTG 😂 and the Murdoch joke was perfect
It's one video because the Weekend Update for this episode was just Jost and Che delivering the news. No appearances by crazy characters or cast members either as themselves or as celebrities. Feels kinda empty, but SNL has done this before on other episodes, so it's not anything new or exciting.
Was a short and sweet Weekend Update. Colin Jost not even hinting at the fact his wife absolutely KILLED IT in the cold open portraying Katie Britt. 🤣🤣🤣

After watching that Trump gaff for what must be twenty times it just hit me, in that moment he crapped his pants. I think it's the word Russia that triggers it.
