I have said it before- Weekend Update posted in its entirety is the very best way to start Mondays. The humor flows much more smoothly. It remains the very best and funniest part of SNL
I like how this season they have basically decided to do joke swap level jokes every week.
Double the pleasure-watch WU segments on Sunday, then complete WU on Monday!

When this metaphor is applied correctly, if you fall outside of 3-4 years of your partner, you fall into increasingly sketchy legal territory. Especially in a school zone. That's the joke. It's not meant to be taken literally unless you're a child predator. You get that right?

It makes sense tho, ever since the head writers got put on camera, they do write themselves the absolute best jokes lol! I do like that they turned it into an opportunity for the head writers to show off their skills & get some attention. Tina Fey never planned to be in front of the camera, I love that Lorne & WU made an actress of her. Neither Jost or Che are particularly strong in skits (makes sense, they’re not really in the cast), but it’s awesome to see them at their best.
