The supporting talents on Weekend Update - the graphic artists, the Chyron operators, the writers, the stage manager, everyone does a smashing job on this segment. I really hope the day SNL "retires" (whenever that might be) that Weekend Update survives as its own 30- or 60-minute series. Must keep this.

Weekend Update and Caitlin Clark are two of my favorite things in the world right now, and they went together very well. Che’s surprise and Jost’s schadenfreude were fun to watch, and Clark did a great job taking the opportunity to praise past WNBA legends who didn’t get nearly as much attention as they deserved or as Clark is (rightfully) getting now.
