Adam and Bowen were in perfect sync in this skit. I think Adam Driver is one of the best guests. I love when when he hosts.
They really were! I loved the bit at 2:36 where it looked like Adam had made Bowen break, but they just incorporated the laughing into the skit.

He definitely is. Some of the greatest actors have a “fearlessness” that really shows in how fully they commit to stuff. As if self consciousness has zero chance of getting in the way. Cage is another.

Bowen always kills it. He's one of the only cast mates that doesn't sneak peaks at the teleprompter in an obvious manner. I love when he gets larger parts in the sketches because his mannerisms and delivery are on point. Driver and Bowen are now on my SNL list of "favorite SNL duos". They are both so good and always give 100 percent.

So funny- after reading several comments enjoying that line (I'm not the biggest fan, as a Black person that feels like a lot of our slang is commonly appropriated), I now realize the (possible) double meaning of that line in this skit. So good. So well done. Excellent writing.
The entire skit was hilarious. Adam and Bowen killed. But I also had a good chuckle at the "now I'm embarrassed" - like THAT was what he was embarrassed about! lmao

At first I didn't know if this would just be more old camp, but it ended up being one of the rare attempts at slice-of-life sketch in recent seasons, with the couples reacting and interacting. Ego's inclusion at the end makes it all the better. This was also one of Bowen's better performances of late.

This was unexpectedly great. I thought it would be played out by the end but it was so fun and had space for everyone to contribute without being self-indulgent or stale.

I think Adam Driver is by far one of the most overhated actors on the planet- he is the favorite to win Worst Actor at the Razzies and it was the writing and visual effects that messed him up (65). He’s one of the best SNL hosts of the 2010s, and he writes some of these sketches and has them to utter perfection. I’m an Adam Driver fan, and thank goodness Ferrari will win him some awards.
