Dude, right?! I had the worst reverse culture shock when I moved back to the USA from Jordan/Palestine. Like, over there, people will laugh and dance and party all night while stone cold sober. It's not really taboo to drink, it's just culturally not really a thing, so even when there is alcohol, people don't typically get drunk. It was so damn refreshing. Then I got back to the US where alcohol is just a casual everyday assumption. I'm thankful I've never had an issue with alcohol, but damn, it wasn't until moving back that it really hit me how fucked up our drinking culture is.

Him really wanting to quit was a good thing but he went about it all wrong, the withdrawal symptoms sent him to the hospital. He was fine after the hospital stay and they got him on a rehab program. He's been sober for over 2 years and im proud of him

UCI Alumni turned faculty here… Loved the inclusion of UCI’s emergency blue light phone. Only wished they had used it in the skit. Honestly, I can’t recall the last time I saw a roller backpack on campus, but now I’ll probably start seeing them whenever I’m there.🤦🏻♀️🤣
Go Anteaters! When I went there, UCI was rated the worst place to party in California. It was all study groups, lots of reading and writing papers. That said, I can read books outside the bathroom. 🙂

All the sketches with Ayo are dramatic, weird, and over the top - making them very unique and different from other SNL episodes. She really brought fresh creativity to the SNL by hosting.
Its weird it took having probably the most sober acting and writing cast SNL has ever seen before they finally could make a sketch about how casual drug use is so normal now.

I had this type of relationship I hung out with a person for years who never did drugs or alcohol and we would have great conversations but if he found that I had smoked some weed( smell) he would immediately stop talking and say you're not making any sense I can't talk to somebody that's on drugs. I always smoked. He just usually didn't find out
I had a friend who was kind of judgey like that. She now drinks, probably more often than I do, and she does gummies for various reasons. I don't call her out for it tho
It feels amazing to know about psychedelics all thanks to this online store I was able to get some mushrooms and they got some lsd gummies cannabis xtc and another stuffs
