For those who don't know Ayo was in a podcast a couple of years ago saying J.Lo's career is a scam. Jlo was her musical guest in this episode.

Ayo Edibiri's speech, tone, and cadence are impeccable! Her great timing really shows what a great comedian she is.
She shows an unusual amount of polish for an SNL host, like she’s rehearsed this for weeks instead of hours. She’s a natural.

Ayo has the best face for comedy. Like her smile just instantly makes you smile and laugh with her. Makes for a great host.
Honestly Ayo is 100% hilarious. Every sketch I have seen so far is just spot on when it comes to her performance.
Didn't like though that they made her apologize in a sense. But JLO having more BJs (business jobs) in the industry gets her more power
I had a feeling when the media was reporting on her comments made about JLo in the years old podcast that she would find a way to address it. I'm glad she did.

5:06 this is why I love this skit. (I posted this because I thought it would influence SNL to keep making new versions of the skit, and then they would remember my support through this RUclips comment. Then they would reach out and ask for me to be the next SNL host.)
I mean, kudos to Ayo for addressing the situation but she wasn’t wrong. Ashanti confirmed a couple years ago that JLo’s vocals weren’t her own and some of them were Ashanti’s. Another artist from demo tracks had her vocals used as well.
She didn’t need to punish herself for that.
You can tell when a guest sparks a fire on the show because all this is SO much better than last week.

So just to be clear, Ayo apologized then later Jlo came out and lip synched to a backing track but we only call that out when someone makes a mistake like ashley simpson? I mean they zoomed in pretty hard it was easy to see when jlo ended a note too early or was off mid-line. Its SNL its fine to lip synch but don't be a hypocrite about it...

Just kidding, I searched for "The Jager Made Me Do It", since I thought that was a real song, and someone did create a version, but there was a comment to search for "The Hamptons Made Me Do It" on that video. I can only imagine that some SNL writer heard it during a trip to the Hamptons or they had some friends that played it for them.
But I agree that the song should have way more than 550 views. It Is a great song.
