SNL moments that i still think about occasionally

- My first SNL video suddenly got so many views like a month after I posted it (apparently the algorithm recommended it to people). So, to celebrate, here's a shorter compilation of moments that I think about sometimes. It's a little darker in tone and less clips repeat, but I feel proud of myself.
After hours of editing, using a free VPN to record clips on my iPhone, an hour and 15 minutes of rendering, three copyright blocks, adding more clips, and over 50 more minutes of rendering later, here it is.
Made in Vegas Pro 17.
All clips are owned by SNL/NBC. - Видеоклипы

Omg! I think you are the FIRST and probably only compiler who actually posts the scenes used!!!! Thank you… I have an SNL rabbit hole to tumble down into now😂
Thanks so much man
my respect for you is so high man, i love these snl videos, but nobody ever says the videos!

Sometimes I forget SNL has a history of the insanest pop culture moments during the musical performance it’s not just silly little sketches lmao
Lady Gaga gave birth once on SNL 🤷🏽
@@MegaGreeeeeen 😂 what do you speak of 😂
Omgosh, s👀 the one:

Hilariously hilarious... 😆😆😆

Literally tho!! 😭😹🤍 I watched it a million times and I love it

Same 😂😂😂
The world owes Sinead O’Connor an apology. She told no lies.
Yeah it’s so crazy that although I remembered her doing that (I was a child at the time), it wasn’t until like two years ago that I learned she was protesting child abuse within the Catholic Church. (3:25)
Exactly.
@@asmodiusjones9563
Wow!!!
I didn't know that until NOW reading this comment! I was a kid at the time too and had no idea. They called her crazy and that's what I thought. WOW!
No one stopping you from apologizing
@@asmodiusjones9563 She could’ve just said that it was less effort and less drama then ripping up a picture of someone’s religious leader and it’s not a protest if you get paid for it It’s performative activism for profit
sinead o'conner was actually so brave for her performance. She was such a strong, opinionated person who knew when she had an audience who would listen. She did so much for so many communities. RIP
That was an extraordinary moment. I said shortly afterward (and many times later) that the pope should make an annual pilgrimage to wash her feet and ask for forgiveness on behalf of the cruelty shown to her just for trying to tell the truth. Too late now, but the truth remains.
She wasn’t the sharpest tool in the shed, nobody was denying that
May she Rest In Peace. ❤️
Yes I was going to write something similar she was so brave and never got the recognition
It seems like SNL should do an apology to her after her death. What’s really crazy is after the press threw her into the sacrificial fire and ruined her career. Then they started following up, rumors and reports of these children being molested by priest. Still, nobody stood up and apologize. Such a brave soldier she was.
"Earth, thanks for letting me stay a while" is such a sweet phrase. I want that in my obituary
Bill Hader breaking out in laughter will always be so wholesome to me.
Sinead O'Connor destroying her career by tearing up the Pope's photo will live in my mind's eye forever.
she's just nuts. when she shaved her head, she proved it
@@joeclayton2121 she had a point back then. She was bullied to bits by everyone and you would have the same reaction if you were in the spotlight
@@joeclayton2121 wake up. Before it's too late. Untill than you're crazy for being blind to it all. Good for you though
@@angelinacc4206 i know all about the pedophile priests, so you can get off your high horse...she's still nuts

You're a real one for putting Sinead O'Connor in your compilation. Queen. Icon.
lmfao
@@jygb7092 you must be a pedo or someone who protects them
The character breaks in the Californians are always so funny 😂
To me I think of Kate as the best cast member snl ever had.. and I've seen every season... she's perfection in everything. Her snl at home cat sketch was thee greatest thing ever
Can't do accents and has no versatility tho, but ok
She's amazing but to me Kristen Wiig is the queen of SNL.
Guess you never heard of Gilda Radner. She is the absolute perfect performer.
Idk, I think Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Cecily Strong and Aidy Bryant are all amazing. Very different styles of humor but great, especially together!
@@andyr8577 agreed! They are all amazing and I miss Aidy already
I still can't watch Kate's exit without crying 😭
"looking like Bart Simpson" TOOK ME OUT LMAOO
"Fight the real enemy." WOW.
Sinead was ahead of her time. She wasn't appreciated then.
@@sixthirtyfife agreed!
@@sixthirtyfife she was not ahead. Not even courageous. By 1993, it was already well-known about religion and peadophilia, and it was on downhill since the sixties. It was outrageous for media POV, because they love to construct a good scandal, but it didn't have an impact as it would have been in 1962. It was part of the character she was. A unlikely pop star.
And for someone who was so against religion, she pretty much try all of them in the next 30 years.
I didn't know Kate left! That's a HUGE loss for SNL. This is a really good compilation. Really good.
"And the one thing she can't wrap her head around is LAVERNE COX??" gets me EVERY TIME
"She's a national treasure!"😂😂
That skit at the private school with the ceiling fan accident caught me by surprise and made me laugh my face off!!!
I'm absolutely traumatized 🥲
It’s so good when you watch from the start. One never expects _Dead Poet’s Society_ to become _Decapitated Poet’s Society._
I had seen most, but I don't remember that one at all!! I'll have to look it up it was pretty good. Imo, anything with Fred Armisen is amazing ash 😂😂😂😂 Is humor is so odd, yet at the same time extremely funny😂 apparently he's in a new show now too I've heard.
"Don't be mad it's my birthday!" 😂😂😂
Its still sad how much backlash Sinead OConnor got given her protest against those monsters from the Vatican.
Both got cancelled they gay priest and her because she was promoting other religions that have been doing terrorist attacks etc but now she left that other religion too
I miss Kate, Aidy and Cecily. I wish they would make a show together or movie or something
I remember watching that Sinéad O'Connor performance. Still sends chills through me.
Kate's final cold open will always make me sad
sinead 10000%, takes real balls to make the world shuffle uncomfortably in its seat
they did sinead DIRTY & they still owe her an apology bc she was right
RIP sinead
Daddy long legs… one of my favorite ever lol Glad to see the actual moment of Sinead O Connor btw. I’d never actually seen it, only heard about it! Legend
“And that’s something you need to work on honey” 😂😂 Kris really should do a parody tape
"He's joining the radical Anti-Ba" literally made me spit water.
I am convinced that every guest star SNL has just goes absolutely feral.
Sasheer doesn’t get the recognition that she deserves… and even if she did… she would need more. 😌
never noticed the woman going OH MY GOD at “the blackest face” before LMAO
We all cried at the end right? It wasn't just me...RIGHT???
Was that her last episode?
@@RRADOMAL yes 💔
@@calisongbird awwww, she done that so well ♥️♥️♥️♥️
I didn’t. Why cry?
@@ranlive1 omg you’re SOOO cool and edgy! 🙄🙄
Rip Sinead O’Connor. The world really ignored her and mocked her .. and she told nothing but the truth
I thought it was Chloe Fineman for a second, they kinda look alike
The Dead Poets Society one is probably one of the best ever...
i still havent seen kate's last episode but that last "live from ny it's snl" made me tear up omg
"At this time of daiy it's gonna be JAHMED! Are yew CREZZY?"
When everyone cancelled Sinead O'Connor......but she was right!!
I literally lost it on the matter skit when he said what is matter? Um, nothing. Hysterical.
Still completely in denial that Kate, Aidy, Kyle, and Pete are gone. 😭 and now Alex, Melissa, and Aristotle, too. 😩 no more Guy Who Just Bought A Boat. No more “and I’m Eric” 😭💔
I know, this really will be a big cast shake up… I’m intrigued
had to make me cry w the last one huh
snl is not perfect but damn. it is iconic
Love it, great compilation. Also having the list of skits helps me look up the ones I haven't seen before. Bug assembly hrre i come. Bowen is so frikken talented omg
Sinead was essentially cancelled over this. We didnt know THEN what we know about PRIESTS and the Church cover ups NOW.....she personally knew victims in her native Ireland.
We knew in Ireland but she still got backlash about it here too.
@@jenster29 Sad. Really Sad....and since I posted the above... she's gone. They're not GOING public but It was suicide. Right? I deeply regret my negativity toward her back then. I just hope she's with her son and at peace. Honestly and I'm not looking to give offense, but the Irish people have a lot to answer for in this regard. Irish AMERICANS too like in Boston and New York.
RIP Sinead.
Why is Adam driver so perfect on SNL?? He eclipsed the other actors. How does he do it?
Kudos for showing Sinead's performance. That took guts, and it cost her a career. She was not wrong. Thank you for keeping her message alive.
I can't express how much I like SNL. It's such a great view into a moment of time. Moreover, the production of it all is insane. Have you seen the James Franco documentary about it? It's great and made me love SNL so much more. And on top of it all, I find it so surreal and alien. I'd never go on live TV and perform, that sounds like my worst nightmare. Comedians are truly the most enigmatic people.
I actually haven’t seen it… I’m intrigued…
where can I watch the doc? Is this free anywhere? I'm always looking for free streaming stuff to watch. Hopefully it is. If not, I could get it from the library I hope!
@@sophiedarnell467 I watched on RUclips a couple of years ago
I tell you🎉 been watching since the 80's love SNL its been apart of my Whole Life❤
sinead was so real for that
Wow. He pulled out that old, old Sinéad O'Connor footage. I recall watching that live way back when.
bowen is such a treasure
Californian skits never fail to make me laugh 🤣🤣
I’m watching this with headphones on at Chevy while I get an oil change. The clip where Pete got his head cut off had me burst out in laughter.
“Mary you have sent me cocaine “
“I have cuter shirts just so you know”
I gotta say, the SNL moment that has stayed with me for YEARS is still Jane Curtains. Though McDonalds still denies allegations that it uses ground worms in their meat, they are having difficulty explaining why, when you cut a Big Mac in half, it crawls in two different directions. (Paraphrasing, but that’s pretty darn close). 😂😂
*Jane Curtin
I absolutely love Adam Driver ❤
That OJ sketch is incredible.
It’s crazy that snl has always been at the forefront of what’s topical and political and never shyed away from jokes that made a statement -and when they’re doing the same thing recently some people are calling them out for offensiveness. They must have not seen any of the other seasons
This is like the BEST BEST compilation bar none!!!!!!
Thank you for that huge compliment!
I totally forgot about the amazing Dead Poets society sketch and laughed way too loud for my sleeping family.
Sinnead. Ahead of her time in so many ways
Joe Pesci owes Sinead O’Connor a huge apology.
"Stuart! At this time of day it's gonna be jammed are you cray-zay??"
I love how they not only have the over-the-top accent but the on-point issues every Californian has to factor into life like traffic.
There are like two places in California where traffic is an issue lol
Did he know she was going to throw wine on him but just not know when? He looks surprised each time. 😆
ruclips.net/video/TEbtOSXmY0c/видео.html it was a running joke throughout the skit and it’s magic
It's called acting sweetheart

I cant believe SNL hasnt done any skits on Sisterwives
RIP Sinead 😢
I have never seen the dead poets society one and holy SHIT that GOT ME
Sinead O’Connor is an ICON.
"say for me..."
4:34 adam driver looking like andy samberg will never not freak me out :D
Gaw damn, the Californians time is part of my favorite SNL era ❤️
This is the best complication ever. Full stop. Point blank. 🤣 Props. 💯👍🏼🏆
one of these is NOT like the others.......rip Sinead
Awww, was that Kate's last episode at the very end? What a way to go out!
Sinead was way ahead of her time 🥰
1:48-2:09 lives in my head rent free
sinead o'connor magnificent!
I remember Lil Nas X's performance when he split his pants. His reaction was priceless and adorable and handled it like a pro
Kate will be missed.
That View portrayal is so accurate. I don't like a lot of SNL but a small amount of it is very good.
2:10 Is seriously my favorite SNL moment ever. The way they’re all trying to hold in their laughs is so funny to me 😭😭😭😭
“what is matter?”
“black lives?”
OH MY GOD
"all lives?"
JFC
I love the breaking in the California's.
“Mary, you have sent me cocaine!” Ha!
"Who's asking, virgin?"
HA
I think that was the only time I can remember Fred Armisen breaking character ... with the Californians 😂
Go watch the Christmas skit of the Doorman with him and Bill Hader
I've seen most scenes multiple times so it was just funny, but an audible laugh escaped me at 11:51.
WOW that was beyond bizarro hilarity. Thank you for that.
Adam Driver is such a natural comedian
kim was actually a great host. she's so funny when given the chance.
The sasheer zamata scene was insane, the way his face was terrified 😂
That molly bit with Adam driver has John mulaney’s name all over it
Oh my god I needed to laugh my butt off today!!!! Thank you 🙏
Nice collection!
Rami was a great host! He’s pretty funny!
I lost it at Antibo
I hope nobody watches this without seeing Farewell, Mr. Bunting first. Seeing that sketch with absolutely no knowledge of what's about to happen is something everyone should get to experience.
Go to 7:56 for the funniest skit. Right up there with the old Julia Child skit. Always with the blood. Too funny.
