    Few things to note:
    1. The clones that went up against general grievous are part of the 212th which is the same group that literally punched grievous in the face. You can’t say that the 212 can’t throw hands
    2. This somewhat shows that grievous is still a huge threat. Even with the overwhelming amount of droids, the clones had the advantage of the narrow halls to funnel them through and might’ve even had a chance still. The sheer fact that grievous was on board made the ship already lost
    3. I like how they animated even the engineers fighting back with their blasters as kenobi calls for retreat

Can we talk about how well this scene, and many others like it, give a spotlight to how much the Jedi and Clones can come to care about each other? It's glossed over many times in Star Wars. I've seen so much material that shows Jedi flat out not reacting to the death of their soldiers.

Young Culture Films it also made Clones feel more human because the films just glossed over them as expendable, I litterally didnt care in ROTS when Clones died, but The Clone Wars gave them names,Identities and stories every single one of them and I always felt a little sad when a clone died in The Clone Wars, also seeing them get so close to their Jedi Brothers in Arms only to then turn on them makes Order 66 all the more sad, at least Rex,Gregor and Wolffe toom their chips out

Matthius has a point. The bad guys barely ever win in this show without the victory being phyrric. The only time I can think of when they won, even temporarily, without incurring great losses was on Felicia. Even Ohnaka's Gang took massive amounts of manpower losses. It even happened with Gregor when he was up against dozens, if not hundreds of droids and exposed tbh.
I ain't hating, but having the Villain's win a genuine, 100% victory sometimes would be nice to see. The heroes in this show get too much plot armor for it to watchable sometimes. Especially during the early seasons.

Seriously, for how much they downgraded him from legends, Grievous remains the best Admiral/General the Separatists ever had, and that due to his versatility alone.
You know what I would've wanted to see? Him leading small teams of Commando Droids, taking out Republic bases in remote regions. With his personally trained Magnaguards arriving with a small battlegroup to help take out the occasional armor. People forget that whenever Grievous was being a coward, he was always against 2~3 top level jedi and basically outnumbered. On the Malevolence he was against Obiwan, Anakin, Ahsoka, and Plo Koon. On Felucia he was against Obiwan, Anakin, and Adi Galia - not to mention often being outnumbered in terms of firepower as well since, its basically 1 army vs 3.

I just love how Grievous doesn't give a shit about the droids in "his" droid army

Did you notice, over the series, every time they fought, Grievous has gotten better against Kenobi? Getting more hits in with each battle, forcing him to retreat here and even defeating him in the comics as well as the unfinished crystal arch. If Windu hadn't crushed his chest, their final battle may have gone much differently.

I absolutely adore that one cut scene where Grievous defeats Kenobi in seconds flat, it was from that final utapau arc that was unfortunately cut

For those commenting wondering g why Kenobi told Grevious the ship was going to explode, here is why: That ship was most likely The Negotiator, Kenobi’s flagship. For Grevious, this is a moment of personal triumph, having taken the flagship of one of his biggest rivals. So by Kenobi telling Grevious that the ship was going to explode, he turned Grevious’s sense of triumph and immediately turned it into fear. If he had just blown up the ship, Grevious wouldn’t have had the feeling of dread. With an adversary as ruthless/heartless as Grevious, sometimes fear is better than a blade through the heart.

Unfortunately, the show did not usually show grievous’... more “demonic” side. Due to the fact he was facing plot-armored characters, the ‘03 depiction was harrowingly accurate.

That was a crushing victory for Grievous. Kenobi was forced to flee with his tail between his legs, and he barely even did any damage to Grievous outside of scuffing his armour's paint job.

3:28 that's the nicest yet General Grievous is to his droids without... 'parting' them aside ... I'd thought he'd be grumpy regardless and smash the droids heads whether victorious or not...

Woulda loved if they found an intelligent way to phrase this scene instead of “Hey Grievous, I want to kill you, but I’m gonna warn you ahead of time cause I can’t kill you until Episode 3.” Classic Filoni

Honestly this whole sequence was very cool with Grievous the droids boarding Obi Wan’s venator. I just wish we would’ve had more scenes like it, or it could’ve been longer, maybe even a full episode dedicated to something like this
