I recently organized all my beard products and my #1 company far and way is Copper John's. I have been asking them for the longest time for a beard balm and boy did they deliver. Just got my bottle of cold start in the mail and I love it! Such a great scent that wakes me up. Beard octane also threw in a sampler oil of down shift and I love that on as well now. Such a great company and great video Dan awesome stuff!

Great video, Dan! I just started growing my beard a little bit before Christmas. I'm the kind of guy who likes to research EVERYTHING. So I did my research including some of your videos but before I could start trying products, Christmas hit and everyone in the family bought me beard products. Oils, combs, brushes, beard soap, etc. I'm just about at the point now where I'm getting ready to try to new stuff that I actually wanted, so I took another look at this video. Nice review. I love Beard Octane LCW wash and their conditioner. I’ve tried several others on your list. One of my favorite oils currently is Black Rebel. The ostrich oil blend is great for me and I really like many of the scents.

Great list Dan, used almost all the companies listed. The few I haven't are part of my running *to try list". Off the the top of my head would add WesWy, love their oil and butter.

Hey, Dan C. I love your stuff! I've had a beard in one form or another for about 20 years. But, I never took care of it or had anyone to give me any real educated advice. When I found your channel, it was a blessing. You are detailed, honest, and very informative. My beard is slowly but surely turning white, and it can get very wirie and stiff. Any advice on oil, butter, or other care options?
I really appreciate the kind words and so glad the channel helps! For your white beard, start rotating more towards thicker oils such as copper Johns, fable, or especially artius man (just not invigoration)
Enjoyed watching, also feels good to already own several of the products on this list. Wish there was a way to try them all, but having what is basically a wall spice rack in my bathroom already pretty much full of beard products (somehow, I always manage to find a way to add one or two...lol). Thanks for all that you do!

Great review Dan. I've tried many of the products on your list. I chose 1 from each category. For oil, I went with Sundance. Butter, I went with Weatherbeard Lakeside Lodge. Wash, BO LCW. Conditioner- haven't tried any on your list. Balm- LB because when I used balm and needed hold, it did the trick. Tool, Chicago #6 because it has 2 different tooth sizes, one for my mustache and the other for my beard.

As always Dan another great video. I started by beard care from watching your videos and its definitely been a game changer! I'm saving up to get the Aberlite cordless Go2! Would love to have that in my daily routine as I still have the corded version. Curious question. Has Aberlite ever thought of doing their version of a cordless blow-dryer? would be pretty cool:) Have a great day!

Great video, Dan. The three companies I use are on your list: Fable, Luxurious Bastard, and Beard Octane. A trifecta of thick, medium, and thin oils respectively, with great balms and butters. So many more I’d like to try: Bearded Mack, Johnnie Ray, Weartherbeard, Copper Johns, but all in good time. Wanted to highlight Fable’s beard butter. Its ingredient list is all butters, no oils, and I find it does a great job of keeping my beard hairs conditioned and soft. Thanks for all your hard work 🙏.

This is the most anticipated list of the year for me and has been my go to for beard products. Doctor Nicks is my favorite company for all beard products, oil, butter, wash and conditioner. That No. 7 is my all time favorite scent and oil. If you have not tried them I could not recommend them more. The oil is top shelf and the butter has no equal! I have Artius Man Citrus Fire for a thicker oil, but will be looking for another good thick oil to add.

Got some Nicks #7, usually not my type of scent but wanted to try it from your comments. Got some kings bounty which I'm excited for. Got some Octane balm, I've never used it so wanted to try it. I also bought a Chicago #8. That I'll be getting a couple more of!
Speaking on beard octane the grizzly puncher scents that they have are incredible. I have the oil the butter the balm and the wash all in Grizzly puncher. Just came in the mail a few days ago. I highly highly highly recommend.

I can personally attest to:
The Grower- this is an all-time top 3 scent in my household. My wife, daughter & I all REALLY like this one!
The #8 Chicago comb- far & away the best comb in my collection. Hangs in my shower & gets daily use.
Coshare drier- I thought it was a kinda weird recommendation from a beard channel but happened to be in the market for a new drier when Dan reviewed it earlier this year. Outstanding drying power.
And as a daily balm user, I agree that Luxurious Bastard has some of the most firm balm available.

Nothing wrong with those products. Super simple stuff though. I think you would be blown away by stepping up to some more complex products
I had bought the Chicago comb #8 comb, several months ago, after you had mentioned it in one of your other videos, at first I didn't even try it once I got it, because I didn't realize it was a much bigger comb than what I usually used, I finally decided to give it a try about a month ago in the shower comb my wash through my beard, than applying beard oil, I have to say, it's the only comb I'll use now, not to big that I feel it's useless when applying beard oil, but also big enough that it rarely ever pulls my beard like other combs do, it's perfect, Thank you and sorry this is so long.

Some additional beard oil scents I suggest are 1886, Chakra, Bilberry and Original from Luxurious Bastard. Also Command Mack and Corner Mack from the Bearded Mack. As well as Fabricator and Ginger Jamboree from Beard Octane. A couple of those courtesy of Mr. Dan C. Bearded. Also love this video and look forward to it every year for the last several years!!

Hey Dan, I love Copper John’s products so much! Their scents last all day long, which I love, yet not so strong they light up the room. I was curious though, I noticed their butter will leave the beard in more of a matte finish, where some others might look shiny. I’m fine with both but was curious why that would be?
The thinner butters like CJ or WeatherBeard absorb in quicker as compared to heavier butters
My husband has started growing a beard and of course he uses dial soap to clean it and nothing else …… seem like beard octane made it to every one of your list. Im gonna start with that for him and see what he likes. Thank you so much for the suggestions

I have to say that I am surprised Defined Beard Co beard butter didn't get a mention. I'm a new customer to Defined Beard Co and was blown away by their butter. Melts supper easy. Works in a long beard effortlessly, smells and feels amazing.

Weatherbeard is hands down my favorite butter! Copper John's butter and oils are great! One of my new favorite oil is Honest Amish Premium. I just picked some up and it styles amazingly! I really want to try Johnny Ray Co and Magic City!

I actually have two videos on them. They are decent for me. Not bad at all, but not great compared to the ones in this video
Recently committed to growing out a full beard past the length I've had in the past and more than my usual goatee/mustache. I really appreciate this channel for the knowledge of what to look for in beard products. Started out with some items from Uncut Beard, mainly their oil and balm, which have been decent as far as I can tell, but I've also had some crap ones from Walmart (Cremo and King Gilette). Thought they were helping me, but apparently the ingredients are not up to par.
After finding Dan C Bearded, I have since tried the Icy Mack beard wash bar (love the feel and later I get with this) and the Kings Bountry liquid beard wash from Defined Beard Co (not a real rich lather, but beard feels clean after and I like the scent). I am also using the Belle Isle beard butter from Detroit Grooming (the lavender/citrus scent is awesome and my beard seems to be feeling softer after less than a week of daily use). Looking forward to more recs and awesome beard product reviews by Dan C Bearded....thanks!!

Mustache Wax... as Dan mentioned in the video, I have used both Copper John's and Johnnie Ray mustache wax. Both are awesome products, but a heads up, I personally have a sensitivity to Pine Resin (Rosin) and can't use the Copper John's, or the Death Grip that was mentioned very often (which stinks because they are great). Johnnie Ray, Barbudos beard products, and Can you handle bar mentioned in the video work well, I mostly use BSC enterprises wax, but any on that list are great for me...
All of the oils that I have tried, I would totally agree with Dan's comments... Butters as well... I like Dan, don't use balm very regularly, but I LOVE the Dr. Nick's delivery system...

Total aligned almost all the way!!! Mint is one place we differ. Still a couple oils and butters on this list I really need to check out. So many great companies. Was surprised you said CJ’s sweet water is a medium conditioner as it’s the only one I’ve found I can use regularly with getting instant massive irritation. Soo look forward to those BABC deep cleansing days beard feels sooo good! Maybe just me but think Bahawat flies under the radar for style and feel. Dr. nicks and Beard Octane by far my most used🍻🍻🍻 another bomb drop💪

True North’s Beard Butter is the best in the game. I usually don’t buy a matching butter when I get oil but with this company I most definitely do every time because it is THAT GOOD.

Have most of the products on this list (scents vary) and all are good but will say Dr Nicks And Weatherbeard are A couple of my go too companies! And johnnie Rays is one I'm looking forward to using soon!
